YOu did a great job with the audio player. Love it, now playing around with the settings on https://klassiek-centraal.be/radio-stream/
Thanks !!!
]]>The support for this excellent plug-in had been suspended for a long time. I’m glad it’s back. Congratulations!
I use this plug-in to stream from Icecast. I have two questions: first, is it possible to have the title alternate between the title and the artist + song name? If not, it would be very interesting for real-time streaming.
Another question is whether it is possible to increase the vertical height (Y) of the spectrum analyzer, as I think it is too small and could be a parameter based on the number of pixels desired.
Congratulations on the plug-in and for returning support for it. It is very good, not the one on the side.
]]>I really like this plugin and the waveforms it creates. It fits perfectly into the style of my audiophile website. But there is a little problem. I haven’t figured out yet how to deal with large audio files like a two-hour DJ set. It basically works, but the browser tab on a desktop machine consumes 2 GB of RAM. On mobile it crashes the browser tab.
Do you have any suggestions? How do I create a cache or how do I get a waveform without consuming gigs of ram?
I’m really grateful for your help!
]]>Hi, great player!
I noticed that once an audio file has been played, pressing the play button again will noch start the file over but play nothing instead. Is this intended or shouldn’t it jump back to the beginning in this case instead?
cheers!
]]>Dear Alex,
I updated Alex Player from version 1.34 to 1.35 and the player stopped working. I would like to go back to version 1.34, but I can’t find it for download. Do you have a download link for version 1.34?
Thanks in advance.
Sincerely,
Regivaldo Costa
]]>Can I change the spectrum default color to something else?
Also, can I change the spectrum style to bars?
]]>Hi Alex,
Thanks a lot for a most excellent player. The visualization of the audio is absolutely great!
Could you please consider adding settings variables to set the actual height and width of the player?
Hello, I really like your plugin, I congratulate you for your creation.
I have a problem, I have my online radio on Icecast but I can not get it to work on my website, I do not understand the code that I must place.
For example if my server has the following url: https://s5.voscast.com:0000
what code should I place to make the radio work on my page?
]]>Hello, I really liked your player and I wanted to use it for my website that I’m currently making.
I ran into the following problem:
After installing the plugin, I went to the examples page and copied and pasted the radio example, since I’m making a web radio site. Tried using it as is or using it with my radio stream but the same error pops up:
Warning: Undefined array key "promoted" in wp-content\plugins\alex-player\alex-player.php on line 46
Warning: Undefined array key "_alex_player_promoted" in wp-content\plugins\alex-player\alex-player.php on line 46
And that way, it’s not displaying the player. Is there anything I can do to make it useable?
Thank you for your time.
Hi from Germany,
What a fantastic plugin that is, absolutely perfect for my band page. But I encountered two problems. One could probably be a missing feature, the other is most likely me being a dumbass ??
First problem:
I try to play multiple mp3s with the shortcodes [UIPlayButton] and [UICircularSpectrum] as in your example page, all with a different mp3 linked. Now when I click to play any mp3, the player and the vizualisation starts as expected. When I click the next player on the page, the expected behaviour was that the still running first mp3 would stop, but that doesn’t happen. Any chance to get that fixed?
Second problem:
To surround the players nicely with a bunch of text and images, I tried to position them either floating left, right, or centered. To achieve this, I surrounde the two shortcodes with a div with a class ‘alexplayer position’. Next I put this into my css:
.alexplayer {
margin-right: 10px;
margin-bottom: 10px;
margin-top: 10px;
float: left;
border: 1px solid;
border-color: #dedfde;
}
.alexplayer.right {
margin-right: 0px;
margin-left: 10px;
float: right;
border-color: #ff0000;
}
.alexplayer.center {
margin-right: auto;
margin-left: auto;
border-color: #00ff00;
display: inline-block;
}
.alexplayer.center:after {
content: "";
display: table;
clear: both;
}
The borders are only to visualize which player is meant. I could not have them positioned in a nice way, especially the centered play button is not centered. Any Idea how I coould overcome this?
Once again: Kudos for your plugin. It is one of the best looking players and I love the idea of the vizualisation.

]]>Hello, this is a great plugin you have developed, perfect for hosting audio files on my website.
However, none of the buttons work on my mobile device (iphone)
