]]>What is recommended approach for using All-in-One WP Migration and Backup plugin for migration/restore from development to production site.
E.g. ActivityPub – WordPress plugin on production website has followers added when somebody follow the website, but when restore happens from development to production with new content etc. followers get deleted from database.
Note: Have already tried deleting ActivityPub – WordPress plugin from development, during restore to production, plugin is deactivated. After activating plugin, followers are still found deleted.
Hello, I’ve using this plugin for many years and also purchased the multisite extension. As much as it is a reliable and great plugin in, there hasn’t been any change to the UI for years. One thing can be improved is the settings interface on the export screen. Instead of showing all the “Do not” options, it makes more sense to show the DO options instead – that is, if the user wants to include backing up the media library for example. And the important part is saving those settings. I find myself keeping having the check the boxes every time I make an export or backup. It’s unnecessary hassle. Thanks for your consideration.

Issue with import export not working with php 8.0 version.
If i set lower php version it working fine.
Hello,
I am having weird issue with database restore using All In One migration plugin and its Unlimited extension.
When restoring backup using wp-cli tool database is not getting restored in many cases, while the same works just fine when backup is restored via web interface.
No errors during command line backup restoration appears so the restore looks like successful but the database is empty after the restore, though all files and folders are restored.
Can you shed some light where to check/dig this further?
Thanks!

]]>I’m facing an issue with the All-in-One WP Migration plugin when trying to import backups (300-900MB) to a site that has its wp-content and import directory located on an AWS EFS (Elastic File System).
Despite having sufficient disk space according to my hosting provider, I consistently receive a “not enough disk space” error. Oddly, even after this error appears, the import process seems to continue to completion, when I click on button “Don’t have disk space…”.
I suspect that the issue might be related to the AWS EFS configuration or some kind of interaction between the plugin and the AWS EFS.
Has anyone else encountered similar problems when using the All-in-One WP Migration plugin with an AWS EFS? Are there any known bugs or limitations that I should be aware of?
Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
]]>I used the All-in-One Migration Tool plugin to backup my website and then downloaded the backup file to my local PC (not using export). After that, I deleted the backup file from the server. Now, I need to restore my website. I thought I could simply import the backup file back into the All-in-One Migration Tool plugin and then use the restore function to restore the website. However, at the end of the import process, it mentioned that it would overwrite the WordPress database and other files, which was not what I expected.
Does the import process combine the actions of copying and restoring as I expected? What is the difference between backup/restore and import/export? DoesIs the data exported from the website the same as the data stored in a website backup?
Can I use the import function to restore my website using previous backup file?
Hi, I’ve used the Theme Rufous with the Kubio page builder to build a website.
I’ve installed WordPress locally with MAMP and I’m trying to move the finished page now to a subdomain webpage of mine.
While exporting with All in One I’ve entered ?localhost:8888/sitename“ by mistake to be replaced. Next time I’ve only used ?sitename“.
After importing both had the same outcome. I can open the homepage on my sudomain. But something ist very wrong.
The links to the other pages show 404. I can’t save the site if I’m trying to make changes with the Kubio page builder.
Thank you for any help

Creating an export and importing as I always do via the plugin. I have encountered something weird, the import freezes at 95% ish every time, then when I refresh the site it says “Error establishing a Redis connection”
I had tried absolutely everything to fix this, FTP / phpmyadmin manual export. Vast research online and I have figured out what the issue is but cannot find a fix. So the site which I am exporting is on a namecheap “EasyWP” package, and the EasyWP setup has a few caching plugins built it at server level “Redis Object Cache” being the one that seems to be causing a problem with my imports and exports.
I’ve never had this problem with any other exports on other hosts but I’ve had it now with every EasyWP Namecheap export, so It’s certainly something to do with the caching setup.
I have contacted Namecheap and asked them to disable it but they say it can’t be done, and I’ve contacted the new host and asked them to enable it, and they say I need to pay for a cloud server (lol, considering it’s an export from a budget easyWP setup this is funny).
One thing which I thought may work was using All in One plugin Export “Advanced Settings” and unchecking cache files. But this made no difference what so ever.
I’ve tried to import via FTP/Manual Database and the same errors always occur.
Seems like something is deeply embedded in the wp files or the database that is forcing the entire backup to depend on Redis Object Cache being enabled.
Does anyone have any sort of idea how I could bypass this, I’ve spent days trying every possible workaround to no avail!
Any help would be amazing!
Thanks, Owen

]]>Hello,
sometime in May, my automatic and manual backups stopped working. I always get the message “Unable to export – Cannot run export. Please refresh the page and try again”
By the elimination method I found the following:
I suspect that the All-in-One WP Migration and Backup plugin doesn’t like the contents of that table.
I use the following:
WordPress 6.6.2
All-in-One WP Migration 7.86
All-in-One WP Migration OneDrive Extension 1.74
All-in-One WP Migration Unlimited Extension 2.60
Does anyone have the same problem? Do you know how I can get the full backup to work?
Thank you very much ??

I have a 4GB file with the entire content of the website. Now I will try to import to localhost. PHP and database versions are the same. I edited PHP.ini – increased to 5GB file, longer time etc.
What all needs to be set so that the import ends well?
On several of the websites I am managing I have found that the manual backups I make each month using All-in-one get deleted automatically, or at least are no longer available in All-in-One WP Migration.
Enough disk space: I am using 5.5 Gb of 100 Gb total on a couple of websites.
Settings are all default (0):
What can I do about this? I want/need to keep at least 3 manual backups?

Hi There,
I have an issue migrating an older website backup onto a website sub domain. the import gets stuck at ‘Done Preparing Blogs’ and when reviewing the console on the page we have an internal error 500. The back up is from October 2023 and was taken from a PHP version 7 using the all in one plugin.
I have tried changing the PHP version on both the subdomain and primary domain from PHP 8- PHP 7 but still recieve the same error, I have also tried using an older version of the All In One Plugin and uploading the back up into the website file manager but this did not work also. I also used the premium version of the plugin and still get the same error.
Can anyone shed any light on this please
Regards
