This blocked some orders from being linked to my affiliate account.
This is clearly an error that doesn’t appear to be common, however it has cost me a fair bit in commission.
As soon as I uninstalled it, my normal daily number of orders appeared again almost instantly. In my opinion, it seems like too much of a risk to install for the sake of having a few extra countries – if it means you cannot feel sure that the links are working as they should originally.
This is not to take anything away from the plugin or the author – I think it’s great, and he’s doing a good job, but I did always feel a sense of worry as to whether or not it was working properly and this was clearly reflected in my experience of using it.
I had a look round for other similar plugins and it appears the author is in a battle with another plugin of a similar title called ‘amazon-affiliate-link-globalizer’ of whom he accuses (in reviews) of fixing bugs in that plugin to change your IDs to his completely, so I would NOT use this one either.
Although this is not a problem, it’s unfortunately a reflection on authors of both plugins and when dealing with something of this nature, I’d like to feel the plugin is really working and that I can trust the authors, not read both of them slagging off each others plugins.

Hi
Great Plugin, thx!
I just have one questions. Visitors from Denmark (Maybe also other small EU countries) get transferred to the .com site it would make more sense if they were transferred to the co.uk site, because from there they don’t have to pay customs.
Would it be possible to change this?
Best,

Had this plugin for months and not registered a single impression on any of my alternate affiliate ID’s whilst my UK ID has had over 20,000 impressions.
[Edit: There is an ongoing issue with Protocol-relative URL’s. Trying to find a fix]

This plugin works well. Thanks!
However I was initially looking for something that would work on amazon widgets in particular the product pictures and price widgets that can be added to posts. I saw the FAQ section and Pete mentioned that a later version will support amazon widgets.
Pete, do you know when this might be available to use?
Thanks,

Took me a little while to get it working due to an issue with my hosting provider but the developer personally resolved the problem for me.
After spending literally hours looking at different solutions to this problem this plugin has proved the most comprehensive and powerful.

This Plugin will send your users to the developers affiliate account on Amazon if you dont have an Amazon affiliate account for the country your user is located. Its a huge money making plugin for the developer and you’ll be better off making an account with Amazon in the different local sites.

It uses Javascript to look up the users location and change the links.
If you don’t want this, maybe a-fwd is an alternative.

Plugin works. Thanks for maintaining it. Will also clean up your Amazon links and make them pretty. Tested for many months and can confirm the affiliate IDs are changed appropriately. Make sure to input all your ID;s as any left blank will default to the author’s ID. That threw me when I first installed it.
