Amazon Link Engine prompted me (on my WP Dashboard) to ‘vote on my experience’ some time ago. When I vote, the buttons do not disappear. Hitting the Dismiss button does not work either. I have tried deactivating and reactivating the plugin. Nothing works. Any ideas? It’s starting to irritate me ??
Here’s what I’m seeing…

Hi,
I need to turn off link engine so that amazon links on just 1 post will not be converted. How would I do this? Or some code to turn it off for a single link would also work.
Thanks!
Hello,
I’m sorry if the question has already been asked, as I don’t speak English it’s complicated for me to do a search.
The question I have is: Will I still get my commission on sales if the plugin changes my affiliate link to one that I did not generate myself? If not, how to solve it? Do we have to connect to the API?
Thanks
Hi,
Can I update existing amazon links to my products to Genuislinks? I have a Geniuslinks account and need some automated system to update all the amazon links.
Any suggestions?
Hi, I am Watchers.
I have made an account in geni.us because its geo-localization feature is fantastic, and that’s what I needed for my Amazon affiliate.
I have also installed the Amazon Link Engine plugin in my wordpress.
After doing everything, you guys provide me with a short link (which looks something like this): https://geni.us/xxxx.
I tried to copy and paste this link in my WordPress blog post.
I was expecting that the link I copied (https://geni.us/xxxx) will be embedded in my WordPress blog post and show an Image and title or price of that link.
But WordPress embed feature is not able to embed the https://geni.us/xxxx link.(I am using Gutenberg editor, which has an embed block)
Please tell me if there is any other method to use https://geni.us/xxxx in my WordPress blog post, which shows image and title or something like that.
I am looking for a swift reply.
Thanks in advance. I know there is a solution to it. (I might be doing it entirely in the wrong way.)
What should I do now?
Any advice re using Google Analytics gtag.js events to track clicks through to Amazon when using the plugin? Thanks!

I just downloaded Amazon link engine plugin in my desk top computer but it is not opening .

Hello,
You should first check that Georiot is defined on https://plugins.trac.www.ads-software.com/browser/amazon-link-engine/trunk/amazon-link-engine.php#L302 before trying to use it.
Visitors with Adblock will have your cdn.geni.us/snippet.min.js
script blocked and that object won’t be available and will cause console errors.
I’ve since removed the action and replaced it with my own, but it would great if ya’ll could also update it on your end!
Thanks
I’ve just installed the plugin and noticed that it doesn’t seem to be working on links to a create-a-review page for products on Amazon.
Is there something I need to do for this to work or are review links not supported by this plugin?
Thanks
Seems no matter what ASIN or template I use, I’m getting the image “No Image Available”
I’ve had a conflict with the Layerslider plugin. They report:
There is a js error on your site: Uncaught ReferenceError: Georiot is not defined
I’m pretty sure this has to do with Amazon Link Engine, and I wonder if it’s affecting anything else.
I just switched to SSL and now Amazon links aren’t clickable when “Preserve URLs until click time” is enabled. Nothing happens on click – it doesn’t forward to Amazon.
Is it possible to deactivate for certain conditions? For example, say it’s necessary to link to the Amazon.com homepage – is it possible to deactivate the redirect so it doesn’t go to another country?

Hope you are doing great!

Hello…Native ads are not working on this post. The script is there, but nothing is showing in the post. All previous posts are still working…so not sure what the issue is.
Hi there,
I’ve just installed this plugin hoping it’d be a quick way to localise Amazon links but have been presented with the following syntax error:
var ale_on_click_checkbox_is_checked="
Notice: Use of undefined constant genius_ale_urls_on_click - assumed 'genius_ale_urls_on_click' in /Users/matthew/Documents/Emily Barr/emily-barr/wp-content/plugins/amazon-link-engine/amazon-link-engine.php on line 260
";
Any help greatly appreciated!
Kind regards,
Matthew ??
It would be helpful if you would minify the snippet.js javascript for faster loading (https://cdn.georiot.com/snippet.js). Google PageSpeed Tools keeps bugging me about it.
This looks perfect, but my question is:
If I have a US Amazon affiliates account, then register for a geni.us account, is that all I have to do to obtain commission from international users? Or would I have to open up accounts in the respective countries, and just have geni.us help redirect to each of them?
Thank you!
I noticed it will replace all WooCommere affiliate links with amznlinkeng-21, no matter if you select “Honor existing Associate IDs” or not. Other links across the websites are okay.
Not cool, really not cool.
I’m based in the US and I have a WordPress blog full of my affiliate links to the US Amazon website. Then, I signed up for a Geni.us account, set up additional affiliate accounts in other Amazon country sites, put these all into my Geni.us dashboard, installed the ALE into my WordPress blog, and connected it with an API key and secret.
Next, when I go to my blog and click on one of my affiliate links, it still shows the old affiliate link as it was before I installed the ALE. Nothing appears to be different. There is no reference to Geni.us anywhere in the link. So how does a person from the UK or CA get redirected?
If that’s really all there is to it, then how do I test it? I read the testing documentation, but the examples given for testing ALE don’t match what my links look like. The testing links refer to Genius in them. But my links are the same as before ALE. I don’t get it.
And, when I put the string “&targetiso2=XX”, nothing happens. In fact, I can put any string of random characters at the end of my affiliate link and it still works. It just resolves back to the Amazon US site, regardless of what I append to it.
So, I feel like I’m missing some step in all of this.
Is it possible to have an Amazon affiliate link that does not get redirected? I have one in particular that when non-US users click on it, they end up on an irrelevant search-type page as the product is only available on Amazon.com. So the ability to ensure that selected links do not get redirected would be great.
I use both the plugin and geni.us links.
GeniusLink answered a review as follows:
However, any clicks coming from outside of the US, will be affiliated with our parameters until the plugin is connected to a Geniuslink Account.
So does this mean that unless users sign up for an GeniusLink account, user’s international Affiliate commissions will actually be hijacked and diverted to GeniusLink’s own affiliate link?
Essentially when using this plug in for free, you are doing free affiliate sales for GeniusLink. And GeniusLink rakes in the bucks that were suppose to go to you. Genius.
Can GeniusLink clarify this?
Hi,
I run an affiliate site and would love to ask a couple of pre-sales questions:
a) Does geniuslink conflict with monetization scripts such as skimlinks?
b) Is geniuslink’s functionality affected by browser ad/script blockers like adblockplus, ghostery and others? For example, skimlinks is blocked by adblock plus.
Thanks!
Hello, I’m curious about using this plugin. I am an Amazon associates member and I need an Amazon search bar on my website so users can search for an item going through my site and see amazon results and I get credit for any purcahses that user makes. Does this plugin allow that?
I have updated it to latest version and now facing weird problem.
All my Amazon link has target=”_blank” tag , so after updating the plugin, i opened my blog and click on the aff link to see if it is working properly or not.
When i click , affiliate link opened new tab and redirecting amazon page that is absolutely ok but the original page is also redirecting amazon page at the same time which should not happen.
Previous version does not have this problem
Can you please help
Hi, I’m really interested in using Amazon link engine, however I’d like to find something out before downloading it.
My website is currently being designed and is not yet hosted on my domain. It is currently a subdomain on a friend’s website. Do I have to wait until it’s on my domain before I can download the plugin and start creating links? Will they uphold during the transfer?
Additionally, I don’t want to open affiliate accounts with Amazon stores until the website is on my domain and I know where the traffic is coming from. Is it possible to create geo-localised links intially in Amazon link engine and then at a later date update these links to become affiliate ones via Geniuslink?
Thanks very much in advance for any help you are able to provide.
Kind regards
Agustin
Hello Guys,
I was using the azon plugin before I decided to try out yours. I have followed the instructions and opened an account on your website so as to allow for localization. But the links on my site have not changed and localization is not working either.
Please help as I do not know what I am doing wrong.

Hi
I’m interested in using Amazon Link Engine in combination with Genius link for my website. Before going ahead with downloading the plugins I would like to know how many Amazon stores you support? I would be grateful if you could provide me with a list of the stores/countries. I know that other Amazon affiliate plugins don’t support all the Amazon stores.
Thank you very much in advance for any help you are able to provide on this matter.
Agustin
In another thread, someone listed https://top-10-store.com/top-10-wooden-playhouses/ as being an example of the plugin working.
However, I’m in Canada, and the site serves up the Amazon.com link, not an Amazon.ca link. Just exactly what is the localization supposed to do? And is it doing it?
