Hi there,
I realize the plugin has not been updated for a while. However, I like the approach using the categories/tags for related products a lot better than the other Amazon affiliate plugins for WordPress.
The only problem here is that AmazonFeed does not support Amazon Germany (amazon.de). It would be great if you could add support for this locale.
Thanks so much.
]]>Is Amazonfeed compatible with MU?
I try it with MU, but it seems like when I saved the amazon keyword. and Visit the page there is no Product feeds being displayed.
And when I checked it again the keywords has been emptied.
Hoping for your immediate response.
]]>Hi – I checked my blog’s Amazon Feed cache a few hours ago, edited it, and all was well… but I looked at my site, and I saw that I had random, irrelevant Amazon ads. And suddenly there is a “General” keyword in the cache that is generating totally random ads that have nothing to do with my blog…
I looked at both the Search (under Options) and the keywords in the widget, and nothing was added (I haven’t changed my keywords). I suddenly have literally dozens of irrelevant ads to block, and they just keep coming. How did this happen, and how can I fix it??
Thank you –
Hi there,
I love this plugin but it seems to conflict with the widgetentries plugin ( https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/widget-entries/ ).
Amazonfeed entries show up whenever this plugin is used
Is there away to stop amazonfeed from displaying the amazonfeed entries when this widget is used?
]]>Is it possible to exclude a search term/character string in AmazonFeed?
For one of my websites where “handbag” is the tag, some of the results show a very long string with the # character. This messes up my layout/content.
This problem is due to some vendors, for a reason only known to them, choosing to use this ultra-long string of #s (“pound” character) in the product description. An example: https://tinyurl.com/27frxlq (Please note: I’ve just shortened the original Amazon product URL, it’s not an affiliate link)
So, in an attempt to exclude those #s, I tried this as the AmazonFeed tag/search string:
handbag -#
But it doesn’t work…
Any ideas? Thanks!
