This is a good simple plugin that has made things a bit easier for me. However, there are a couple things that would make my life easier with this plugin, so raising as a feature request:
Products are added to the cart instead of opening the product url.
]]>My plugin ‘AMB Variable Affiliate Products for WooCommerce’ is somehow deactivated each time i am running an import. I am only updating prices. How come?
]]>Hi,
I would like to import csv that have variation with external links, so i found a post where they said the solution is amb.
Do you have a way to import csv from wp all import ?

]]>Hi,
great plugin just one issue though.
Have 4 variables for a book – print, ebook, online and audio
The print one is actually sold within the store, the others are externals but when you select print and then add to basket it then refreshes the page for the print version details but it does not add it to the basket.
So effectively for anything that is sold in the store we are now unable to purchase it. Unless we have set up something incorrectly here?
Hope you can help and look forward to hearing from you,
Ange
]]>Hello!
There is no field to enable affiliate: https://yadi.sk/i/5J3bWnowaaAT1Q
]]>I’m writing this to know that if there any future plans for updating this plugin because I want to use this in my projects. And I also want to know that if there are any conflicts for using this with the latest version of woocommerce plugin.
Note- This plugin has not caused any issues on my website frontend and it has done its job perfectly.
But if you are not going to update it then I would be very helpful if you could help me find an alternative for this.
Sorry for my bad English.
Hi @ambmills,
Absolutely love the plugin. Does exactly what I want, so glad I found it.
I’m having the same issue which a user flagged a while ago about using the woocommerce CSV import whereby the data in the ‘Meta: _amb_vap_prod’ ‘Meta: _amb_vap_prod_url’ and ‘Meta: _amb_vap_prod_cart_text’ is all being stripped out on import. It’s strange because the affiliate URL does get passed through.
Any idea when you might be able to look at this as it means it’s a manual job after every import to go into every product inventory and click enabled, enter a url, and enter the buy button text.
I want this to be permanently enabled (so it always shows the affiliate links) so not sure if there’s an alternative solution whereby this could be left blank and it would still show the affiliate buy buttons.
Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
]]>hi there,
i hava installed your plugin for varibale affiliate, but when i click on link it keeps loading and showing error like
1.access-control-allow-origin is not allowed by in preflight response
2.load unsafe script
Could you please make it compatible with woocommerce as the affiliate links stopped working.
]]>I installed the plugin, AMB Variable Affiliate Products for WooCommerce, last year and it has worked wonderfully. However, yesterday I updated my client’s plugins & themes and today, a purchase was made for an affiliate product by one of her customers. Instead of going to Amazon as it should have, it kicked the purchase to PayPal for the digital product. Can you please tell me what I must do to fix this? Below, I have copy/pasted my system status. Hopefully, this can help in determining what the problem is. I have checked all other products set up in this way and they all do the same thing. They do not send to the affiliate for tangible products.

Hi.
Do You have any experience if Your plugin ‘extra’ fields show up in the WP All-Import plugin?
]]>First of all, great plugin. I use it with WooCommerce version 3.6.5. When i create a new product, it works fine. Only if i want to edit end update that product the product the whole functionality disappears from the WooCommerce admin (product edit page) and the product acts like a normal variabele product.
I can’t change the buy button and external url and/or add multiple external url’s anymore.
Also: on the front-end the buy button changes into a normale buy button (without the external) link.
]]>Is there a way to set the variation links to target=”_blank”?
]]>Hi, I’m trying to import some variable products using the csv importer. As a test I set up a variable product and exported using the CSV exporter I can see the fields for the variable product:
Meta:_amb_vap_prod = “yes”
Meta:_amb_vap_prod_cart_text = “Go to store”
Meta:_amb_vap_prod_url = “https://defaulturl.com”
I can also see the field for the variation urls
Meta:_amb_wpvap_variation_url = “https://productpage.com”
If I then delete the product from woocommerce and import using the csv importer, the variation urls import ok, the three field for the variable product don’t.
Please can you advise? Thanks very much.
]]>Hi there!
Great plugin, it seems to do exactly what i was searching for, but unfortunately, the text which I define for the button is not showing on the frontend… What can i do…?
Best regards
Andi
The plugin does not work, it just hangs when you click the “Buy” button. Update it please.
]]>I just installed this plugin today, thinking it would help me with variable products, i.e. paperback books and ebooks. I set up the variation and put the affiliate link to the paperback product, set up the ebook and its download link. However, on the product page, when you choose paperback, you’re given an add to cart button and you’re charged for the book on the website. You’re not sent to the affiliate to purchase. What am I do wrong?
