Hi – we use AMD daily bible reading with three custom plans. It works well. However – we are in time zone UTC +10 which is correctly set in our wordpress settings – but AMD daily bible reading doesnt change the daily reading until GMT 0 hour – in our case 10AM the next day. How can we get AMD daily bible reading to use the wordpress settings time and not GMT?

]]>There is no reading scheduled for this day. Use this day to catch up or read ahead. — Job 26:13 KJV
This is happening on multiple sites now.
]]>We are avid users of your Bible Readings plugin, and are very grateful for all the work you’ve put in to make this available for those who still want to read God’s word.
We’ve implemented this on our website, but there are a couple of weird bugs which I’m unsure how to resolve.
The first is related to leap years – how do I set it up so a reading plan is processed correctly, both for normal and leap years? In the Plan Editor, the entries go up to 366 days, but day 365 is shown as “Dec. 31, 2020”, and day 366 is “Jan. 1, -99998”. Our Bible Reading plan has no readings scheduled for Feb 29 so I left day 366 blank – but then the readings for March 1 displayed on Feb 29, and then all subsequent readings show a day early. However, if I leave day 60 blank, it works for the rest of this year, but on non-leap years March 1 will be blank, and all subsequent readings will show a day late.
Are there any workarounds for this, please? Or do I need to reimport the correct plan at the beginning of the year whether there are 365 or 366 days in the year?
Second, we’ve discovered there’s a formatting issue on certain days of our reading plan, which seem to affect books of the Bible that start with the same letter. This is illustrated on the attached page, where Jonah 2 has been added to the end of Job 2 without a book title, or chapter number; Jonah 3 has a chapter number but there is no book title. This is also the case with day 338, but day 339 is back to normal.
I’ve tried changing the reading plan to use specific titles for the books (Jb rather than Job, and Jnh rather than Jonah, but this has not made any difference. Please can you let me know what I need to do to resolve this issue?
Once again, many thanks for all the work you’ve put in to making this plugin; may God bless you in your work.
]]>FYI
On public side when users view daily bible reading.
Date displays different than local. Example Nov.1 Pacific Time US displays Nov. 2.
Date jumps two days when right arrow clicked and doesn’t go back when left arrow clicked.
Thank You and God Bless the work,
Denis
FYI
The WP admin setting section is not importing amdbible_kjv.csv to database for local use.
I updated the database by PHPMyAdmin -> amdbible_kjv (table) -> Import (tab) -> amdbible_kjv.csv (file selected) -> Update data when duplicate keys found (check box) -> Column names: [id,t]
Nice Plug-In
Thank You and God Bless the work done,
Denis
Hello,
Do you happen to have a NKJV of the bible in csv format. If not, can you point me in the right direction please? Thank you!
I am trying to upload my own custom reference file. I downloaded the .csv file and redid it using the same exact layout just changing the Bible references.
I kept the same layout 1 Matthew 1:1 Matthew 1:999
etc.
However when I create a new plan and try to upload the same .csv file (renamed OT and NT) it only fills the first line of the list and not the rest.
It puts a “2” after my 999 even thought there is not any “2” ion the csv file.
Am I doing something wrong?
Is their a short code for displaying two reading plans on the same page. For example our church reads a few chapters from the OT and a few from the NT each day.
I would like them to both show up on the same page. I can make two rows that is not a problem, just not sure how to get each list to show up.
I made a list called “Bible OT” and “Bible NT”.
Just need to know how if there was a way to display each list separately.
]]>Hello,
I have very little coding experience to fix my own problems and I am having one. The plugin is working great on my church’s website, however, I have no idea how to change the color of the text that the scripture appears. We currently use a dark gray background on our website and the text automatically shows up a beige color that is very difficult to read on our site. I just need to know how to make the color of the scripture itself appear white.
Thanks in advance for the help,
Nicholas Barnard

I am using the shortcode for daily reading..
Just a quick background. At this point this is just a test install a dev site not a public site on my personal home network. So it is running apache/php7.1/mysql on Windows (UniServer XIII) and WordPress 4.9.5. The only other plugin is a plugin that pulls media info from a Windows based online radio app. I have tried disabling the radio plugin but it does not correct the behavior of daily reading shortcode.
So the two problems I am seeing..
For example the day I am writing this ticket I see 2 Chronicles 25, 26, 27 and 28 now the bit that displays above the book is this “Mon., May. 14, 2018 — 2 Chronicles 25:1 – Genesis 1:1 KJV” if I add the switch to display below it still puts Genesis 1:1 in instead of the correct ending. I see that you have it working on AMD website examples page. What could be wrong on my end?
Also if the arrows are clicked for next day or previous day it only is displays ?=135 or ?=133 nothing else on page except WordPress Header, Sidebar etc. Of course that depends on the day. I have been working on this a few days. The current day displays with the exception of all references end in Genesis 1:1 the day before or day after will not display only “?=###”
Again it seems to be working on your AMD website example page. What could be wrong on my end?
If we were using this plug-in for a custom daily reading plan, how would be push this feed to twitter daily, for example?

The above is the notice I get when accessing the page. However it will display a particular verse such as:
Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth. — KJV
