I’ve been working to provide an interactive calendar for a sports club. The league provides an iCal feed and this plugin is the best calendar viewer that I could find. The documentation is great with the excellent examples that show you how to achieve the presentation you want.
After the 5.5 update there was a small issue with one of the configurations – anmari responded promptly and the issue was fixed.
I can highly recommend this plugin.

I needed something that could pull in an ics feed from my other Events plugin and be styled for print. This plugin was perfect and the support has been swift!

This plugin brings a custom addon management (what could possibly go wrong?) and does break with wordpress admin interface style. Uninstalled after 1 minute.

Great free plugin for external .ics-feeds!
The setup (doc) is a bit too complicated.

Beyond expectations. I cannot stress how much I love this widget.

Not very easy to figure out if you’re a noob. I know the basics of setting up a website and have managed to do a lot myself, but trying to figure out how to sync my google calendar in list view on the sidebar of my website was an exercise in frustration.
I used the widget with my ical url and followed the instructions I was able to decipher, however, the darn thing would only show ‘no upcoming events’, when in fact there were tons of events on my calender. I searched up and down for a way to fix this, but came upon nothing I could understand.
The support language is too technical for laymen. Developer’s explanations are neither clear nor thorough. No step by step guide on how to carry out key set up functions. If you don’t understand web development jargon you will get lost. Spent hours trying to figure this without success. Wasted an entire afternoon and I’m annoyed enough about it to leave this negative review.

Out of the box, this plugin probably won’t look great, and learning how to customize it to match your site will take a couple hours, but that’s because the plugin has so much functionality to match the design and structure of almost any webpage.
Furthermore, the develop was incredibly quick and thorough in responding to a support post I made. I highly recommend the plugin to anyone who has the time to learn how to use it, and I recommend the (paid) amr-events plugin by the same developer which adds some functionality to this plugin

This is the ONLY plugin I’ve been able to find that provides support for events in multiple timezones and display them all in local time. This happens using a shortcode parameter. It also supports using timezones in both Google and Apple calendars. Now I can simply enter an event using its own date-time and timezone in my iPhone calendar, and it will appear automatically, displaying the correct local time on the WordPress site. Excellent!

I’ve been using this plugin for years now. It addresses a very complex issue which it solves as good as you could expect. All support questions have been solved in one way or another and the plugin itself can be customized (output-wise) via a sub-plugin, templates for which are provided. Thank you very much for this piece of code!

Given the infamous Nov 17 deprecation by Google of their API v2, which caused most of our event calendar widgets to break, I had to go searching for a new solution.
Stumbled onto this amr ical events list plugin and am happy to say it works great. Within a few hours, I have a new Upcoming Events list that is styled just the way we need it.
Great plugin for us so far.

The plugin works very well and looks really nice on our site.
With the author’s fast and helpful responses, I was able to customise it just the way I wanted it.
In particular, I needed it to work with calendar.live.com which uses Microsoft’s strange timezone format and Anmari kindly updated the plugin as soon as I reported the issue.
The plugin has lots of features and I would recommend it.

Love it, it did exactly what I wanted it to: show upcoming events from a remote ical/ics feed (ArtistData) for a local rock band. This is something that didn’t work quite right in any other plugin I could find including Gigpress & ArtistDataPress. AMR iCal Events, on the other hand, has many configurable options, and the support rocks!!! Recommended!!!

We’re showing several ical feeds on out site which are hosted by Google.
With this plugin it’s no problem to display this events to inform out guests about upcoming events.
The plugin works directly after installing it.
Your able to choose from some design out of the box and also you can create your own styles.
Thanks for developing!

This plugin allows you to import, parse and show external calendar feeds in your website.
It works out of the box (just drop a shortcode in your content editor), but it also offers a wide range of customization features.
There′s a bit of a learning curve, so take a few hours to play and familiarize yourself with this plugin. You′ll be impressed.
You can find extensive documentation on the plugin′s website and in the forums. Anmari′s support is outstanding.
I′m using it to import football fixtures (here), combine feeds for different leagues on one page (one of this plugins features) and show the date, start time and location.
