I just tested the plugin, great he does the job.
There is still a bug when sending gif with white background, it changes the color of the background.
Here is an example of a gif used:

]]>January 2016 – it’s working for me and generating all the various sizes of the images in the uploads/ folder, however, the animated is getting munged. It looks like it’s just messing up a few frames of the animation. So I see glitches in the images. So close to working!! Frustrating!

This plugin has some dependency that is very old.
I just tried the new plugin in 4.2.1 – it took me a while to realise that although it appears not to work (WordPress displays an error message HTTP error when I upload an animated gif), the uploaded image does actually appear in the media library, still animated perfectly

developer please update to make it work again as I rebuilt all my images and now none of my animated gifs and an animated gif site are working anymore so its a bit of a disaster..

So I upload animated gifs to my media library but every time when I set a size (eg. set_post_thumbnail_size( 150, 9999, true );) it just changes the width not the length and also its not animating anymore.
Do I have to set something?
