I’d like to use tabs within my post that hold the Prism code. For example, using something like Tab Shortcode Widget (or some other tab in post plugin) having separate tabs for HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Instead of stacking them, but the output from my tests so far have not displayed the prism output.

Can you tell me what is involved with syncing/updating the plugin with the official Prism repo? Is it simply copy and pasting the updated assets (js/css) over and pushing updates?

Yes you can change the plugin code. But you can’t make money by selling this. You can ask for donation.
Your claim is *totally wrong!* Hell yeah people can make money selling your plugin. If you registered a some kind of trademark for this, I would be surprised if you did, you may actually demand people who sell this under this exact name to rename it. If your totally mean you can try to sue them for using your TM (not sure if you can expect anything out if it) but thats all you can do. Its perfectly legal to sell this!
