I’ve tested this plugin and seems to working very well. Most spam comments are gone, some of them (just a little) are able to avoid spam filters.
There is something need to be fixed and I’m already posted in support forum. I hope that it will be fixed soon.

Granted, the comment functionality is not being used that much on my websites, however, when it is, legit comments are being regarded as legit, and obvious spam is being regarded as spam. Just as it should.
Antispam Bee is a very fine, robust and well-maintained plugin, that eases the decision to enable commenting on WordPress websites; instead of just disabling commenting entirely.

It’s a pity, but since recently even comments that I write as an admin are classified as spam?
That doesn’t work at all, now I have to activate every comment, even though the check mark is set.
Otherwise, it does what it is supposed to do, therefore 2 stars

Since the installation a few years ago, there have been almost no spam comments. And at the same time, there have been no false-positives that have sorted out real users. At the beginning, I observed this critically for a long time, but now I simply trust the tool. The decision for Antispam Bee was the GDPR conformity. I am absolutely satisfied and no longer have to worry about spam. Thank you.

I have been using “Antispam Bee” for a couple of years. It’s one of the must-have plugins on my list. I activated this plugin to at least 300 websites and never had any issues. It has a couple of options but you don’t need additional settings & configurations to make the plugin work. Just install & activate and it will do its job precisely. This is the beauty of it. It slaps the spammers & spam bots right away. It saves my databases and websites every day.

I have been testing out all the free anti-spam plugins and so far this one seems to be working the best.
All the others had issues with either blocking too many legit emails and comments or not blocking the spam.
Time to try it on my other sites.

Anti-Spam Bee has been great at learning and catching compliment spam on my site.
It’s pretty rare that a compliment spammer or link freeloader even makes it to moderation.
Anti-Spam Bee is is a far better plugin than some of it’s competitors.
If only I could use it to stop spammy comments on Gravity Forms!

I was very happy to replace the expensive Askimet with this, but I’d love someone to come up with a solution that prevents the same spambot from leaving 30,000 comments within 2 weeks.
There has to be a way to stop the same spam from returning somehow? I have the same bots that just attack me forever with differing IP addresses.

SO glad I found this wonderful alternative to “that other one” after they got too greedy.
Works great, filters out all the stupid spam but lets the good comments through.
