I am having problems with this plugin:
FontServ.com don’t work Website not found
and
It cuts off half of the last letter in the page title on every page.
I am unable to connect to fontserv.com for information/support for AnyFont plugin. I get the message : Oops! Internet Explorer could not find fontserv.com. Has this company gone out of business? Is the premium paid version of AnyFont available any longer? If yes, where? from whom?

Initial setup:
WP: 3.4.2
Theme: Atahualpa 3.7.9
Plugins: AnyFont 2.2.3, Magic Zoom 5.9.26, WP e-Commerce 3.8.9
Hello all at the forum!
I have a weird situation when I installed and set up WP e-commerce (from GetShopped) on a website with an Atahualpa theme.
On the category pages, only one product image shows, the rest of the product details show and below I get (I think an AnyFont)error code showing (see SCREENSHOT).
All other shop pages such as individual items look absolutely fine.
I changed back to TwentyEleven theme where the error code is not showing (see SCREENSHOT ), so one could assume it has something to do with my Atahualpa Theme. I have reported the issue there, but so far we have found no solution yet.
As most of the error code showing seems to be AnyFont, I assumed this would disappear when deactivating it, however, other error code was still showing, as well as only one product image showing (see SCREENSHOT ).
I then tried deactivating MagicZoom too, which made no change in the error code.
Moving back to Twenty Eleven with plugins (apart from WP e-commerce) deactivated showed everything showing without error code and both product images.
Updating my Atahualpa Theme to 3.7.9 made no difference.
TWO WEEKS LATER: I had a little breakthrough: updated WPEC from version 3.8.8.5 to 3.8.9 which was a major update.
This fixed the Category title issue which is awesome, I also fixed the extra image issue, however, the AnyFont error code is still showing ??
I was working on a different e-commerce site this week where the error was showing also, but I was hoping it might disappear when upgrading to Gold Cart and getting a Grid View. Unfortunately, the error code is still showing: LINK
It is really odd how it is showing in Firebug :

@font-face{font-family: 'Cambria'; bla bla bla more error code here!}

It is residing within the div class “product_grid_display group”. Previously in my other site, it was within a p tag and when in configure excerpts I said to strip the p class, after saving it was still showing the error code, just not within the p tag.
It seems to be really persistent and I cannot find a CSS selector to make is display:none, nor can I find anywhere in the AnyFont settings to not show any error code.
I am still baffled too, that it is not showing in TwentyEleven theme meaning it must clash somewhere with Atahualpa too?
I have also written to WPEC as it seems to be the combination of the three causing this error code to show ??
Hi
Most of my headings work with Anyfont but these type don’t.

Quiet weekend…

Is it because it’s a permalink?
Any thoughts?
Hi!
I need to manually implement the plugin in my theme, what php code should I use to call a specific style?
The point is, I want to use it to style category names, but I need different title styles for the different categories. The font would be the same, only the color would change.
Like in category 1, I would use customfont.ttf in red, in category 2, customfont.ttf in blue, etc.
Therefore, I want to use conditional statement, like :
if category 1, then use style red, if category 2, then use style blue, etc.
So, of course, I need the php code… I searched everywhere for it and couldn’t find it. I could read the whole php files and look for it, but I’m not even sure what I’m looking for, so it might take ages.
Thanks!
I don’t know how it happened.
My any font in thai vowel has slide to right.
And it isn’t displayed correctly.
but when I test in another work it’s work well
Hi

I have Retina 0.2 by Colton Mason and my post titles and side bar titles pretty much show up when they want to. Is there a bug or will this just not work for my theme?
Recently a WordPress site was updated to 3.3.1, apparently without issue but when I went to create a new page the Anyfont editor would not work. The JavaScript selection dialog kicks up butt locks and the selection menu never appears. The existing images (created by Anyfont) for pages cached at least once still appear on the relevant pages and new pages title with Anyfont fine; However, because the drop down editor won’t appear on the body of new posts and pages, I can not edit or add new Anyfont styles in the body of the the site. This is an page editor specific problem. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Anyfont, re-installed the full WP update, reinstalled Anyfont again, and lastly deleted htaccess and reset permalinks (which was probably not a problem ‘cuz the existing cache of images was fine)… Any ideas? Is this a known issue (Any font post editor not working after update)? Could another plugin be causing this?
Hi everyone,
I already use FontServ’s AnyFont on my own website and am just setting up a website for someone else so wanted to register them. However, after registering and FontServ telling me an email has been sent to my email address, there is no email. not in junk either and ot after waiting half an hour either.
So i tried the https://fontserv.com/forgotpassword/ link, but here I get this error: ‘The e-mail could not be sent.
Possible reason: your host may have disabled the mail() function…’
So I tried contacting them with their contact form… I get this error
‘Failed to send your message. Please try again later.’
I noticed that their twitter updates were over a year ago, their replies and their site seems to have a security certificate that has expired,so I am wondering if support is still available for this plugin?
However, the latest reply on their blog -seeming to be from AnyFont- was:
Ryan 08. Apr, 2011 at 7:06 pm # We will be announcing all the new features we have been working on for the past few months along with the upgrade plan very very soon, so stay tuned to this blog in the coming weeks. ??
which is almost 5 months ago, still fairly recent, although the upgrade was not announced in the weeks after this comment as promised…
It would be a real shame if it was not possible to use this plugin any longer as I really like it and its very useful on my personal blog so far…
I’d also like to mention that I would really like to purchase the developer’s access, but it has been unavailable for ages!
I hope I can contact FontServ this way and sort this out, or would anyone else have any idea what to do or any other way to contact FontServ/AnyFont?
I decided to try the ImageMagick option instead of GD and I get the following error in my error log;
PHP Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in ...anyfont/lib/php5/class.image.php on line 271
It’s really bizarre. When testing my site through Firefox most of the text replacement images are generated correctly but when using IE the images don’t appear.
From what I can see this problem happens with version 1.3.3 and still persists when I upgrade to the latest version (2.2).
I only investigated when my web hosts complained I was racking up crazy amounts of CPU usage.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
I get the following error in the backoffcie when opening Install fonts and Create styles section:
Warning: fread() [function.fread]: Length parameter must be greater than 0 in /home/myaccountname/public_html/mydomainname/wp-content/plugins/anyfont/lib/class.admin.php on line 717
Tried re-installing, emtying cache, no solution ??
Any idea what might be causing this?
I have AnyFont installed for a client, and there is a problem with the top menu bar display. Whenever they add, remove or otherwise edit this menu bar, some of the fonts disappear, leaving a huge gap. It seems like it’s still there, because you can click on the gap and go to the correct page, but you can’t see the text.
See here: https://74.53.117.226/~cpp/… the big gap between Coaching and About Us.
Anyone know what the issue is? I am using the Builder theme from iThemes (a custom child theme). There is quite a bit of css on the menu bar, could that be conflicting with AnyFont somehow?
I recently enabled the multi-site network on one of my WordPress installs on which I already had been implementing the Anyfont plugin. I enabled the plugin for the the subdomain blog and I want to copy the exact same anyfont settings I have on my original blog to the new subdomain blog. However, for some reason now, when I go to the “anyfont settings” page on eaither blog I am not able to click on any of the smaller tabs listed on that page (“Auto-Replace”, “TextCache Status”, “FontServ”, “SettingsSettings”). This is a problem because now I cannot use the anyfont plugin on the subdomain blog.
I have tried deleting and reinstalling the plugin. Did not work. I have tried copying the files from my “uploads” folder on my original blog to the “blogs.dir/#/files” folder. Did not fix it.
The plugin is still doing it’s job on the original blog I installed it on.
Can anyone give me an idea of what I should try next? What is the url supposed to be for the “fontserv settings” page? Maybe i can just access it though my browser manually. I looked at the page source and it does not appear that the tabs in question don’t have a href= in the “li” tags.
???
Sorry if this is confusing. I am new to wordpress still. Thank you in advance for your help.
I’ve installed the plugin from the direct through the wordpress directory.
I uploaded the font, but it doesn’t show in the preview box or when used in any way. It just displays the question mark error image.
How do I rectify this?
(The font is an .otf file from my computer)
Dear AnyFont,
I use wp 3.0.2 with the latest anyfont plugin but I get the following errors when I select the settings menu:
“Fatal error: Call to undefined method WP_Error::getMessage() in C:\xampp\htdocs\ldrttaxirecapit2010\wp-content\plugins\anyfont\lib\class.fontserv-client.php on line 49”
Please assist.
Thank you.
Kind regards,
Maramk

I’ve been using anyfont a lot over the last year or two and love the plugin however recently I’ve noticed a real flaw in rendering some fonts.
My specific issue is with fonts where the ascenders or descenders of characters stretch above or below previous/later characters (for want of a better description).
Here are links to two specific fonts that don’t work at all well;
Zapfino – https://www.linotype.com/1175/zapfino-family.html
Beautiful ES – https://www.fontstock.net/9099/beautiful-es.html
To see what I mean, try downloading Beautiful ES, it’s free. The irony is that the site above lets you type in test characters (I guess using an image module like AnyFont) yet renders it correctly.
I’ve tried using previous versions of AnyFont and WordPress yet they all have the same issue. is this Anyfont or the image module itself?
Any feedback would be fab!
As I mentionned it on the author website, since the chaotics updates occured this summer, Anyfont looks like being working BUT there’s still a big issue for code validity AND accessibility.
Too bad
asaik this is maybe handle at line 857 of anyfont.php in function anyfont_img_output() and / or at line 937 for function anyfont_get_menu_images.
Looks like the $title are actually not corrrect when it’s sidebar items, but I’m not a php guru.
Unfortunatly the author is still mute about this….
Added about 6 lines of htaccess code. I can’t paste them here, as I didn’t think of saving a copy while scrambling to delete them, since they were causing my entire site to go 500.
I’d suggest fixing this for other users – those that will attempt to install it after this point, which does not include me.
I was using AnyFont on my portfolio site, happy as a lamb…it even continued to work after I upgraded from 2.9 to 3.0.1 – until I tried to make changes to the styles. When previewing the changes, the example disappeared and now won’t continue to receive any more changes to it.
Every area on my site that used this particular updated style, has now disappeared.
I tried to remake the style, and when I either preview or save changes, the example doesn’t appear and I can’t delete the style even though I get the yellow box saying it is deleting.
I’ve deactivated, reactivated and even uninstalled completely and reinstalled (both AnyFont and WP)…I really love this plugin and I would really hate to have to go back through and change the headers that have been using this (there’s a lot of pages now!) – but I’ve sat on this for a couple of days and it’s hindering the progress of my portfolio…
Any help into fixing this issue would be SUPER and GREATLY appreciated. Thanks!!
