Hi.
There is a small incompatibility with php 7.

]]>A great (if not essential) plug in.
One of the sites I maintain has been under continual attack for some time, and I am hoping this will ease the pressure on the Bad Behavior logs!
I am currently preferring to run with the plug in rather than deactivate it as a result of the effect it has had on some of the formatting and text on my site. When the plug in is activated; all of the text disappears on my contact form, and all of the links on a [WP plug in] Link Manager external links also disappear.
I will return to dig deeper, find causes and possibly a cure presently, but I would like to see the plug in ‘in action’ for a while first, to see some results!
I can live with the lack of text and formatting for a while (the site does not attract much traffic), but this seems an unusual effect for a plug in of this nature to create.
Should be an interesting delve!
The plugin seems to be working properly and I’m pleased. However, in the log I see IPs that are blocked yet they appear in log again when they return. I had thought that, once blocked, they wouldn’t appear again. Is what I’m seeing the normal process? Just curious. thanks,
david
Hi,
On the Settings screen, I see references to creating a database for logs of honeypot activity. How do I do this?
Thanks!
Great idea, and as a fan of project honeypot I’ve been using this for a while.
However, it does NOT represent a one-stop security solution or anything even close.
The problem is that the Project Honeypot service is offline / broken roughly 25 – 50% of the time, during which times this plugin is rendered useless.
If you’re after dependable blocking of malicious traffic, you need to look elsewhere.
