I must have tried at least ten other plugins before finding this one, and all of them had issues or were over developed with too many options.
This one works perfectly though and does exactly what I need it to – display a notification that can be closed, and allows control over the font and background colours.
Many thanks to the developer and please don’t spoil it by adding lots of fancy options I don’t really need.
