you can’t sort the faq’s in a specific order

Half the time, updating new FAQs or changes “don’t take”, erasing everything typed. And often, delineating an order doesn’t take, defeating the purpose of establishing the order of each each FAQ. I see why this is a free plugin.

If you need a quick and easy solution this little plugin is fantastic.
I would love to see some styling options or at least the option to select some colours or add icons but overall this plugin is fantastic and although there are much more complex solutions out there I can see why is the favourite of so many WP users.
Hopefully the developers will keep it alive.

Works ok, but spams the admin interface with ads for “pro” plugins. Extremely irritating. Use the fix provided by edmunek, or add the following line

right after line 114

or don’t use the plugin.

Well, suddenly recently started to receive multiple notifications on the dashboard that there are special “offers” for pro plugins. Found that all are coming from “www.tychesoftwares.com” which are also responsible for this free plugin.
I am finding this offensive that you are placing your “pro” offers notification in a free plugin.
For all interested, edit arconix-faq-all-component.php and remove line 71 plus all “messages” (there is 13 special offer messages included later on)

Nice, simple plugin for displaying FAQs. My biggest issue is it’s missing Q&A Schema. Would also prefer to see the questions contained in head tags.

It really does about everything I need and is easy to use. THAT SAID: I wish it were easy to rearrange the questions so I could make the most important ones at the top.
Might also be nice to have a place for “Have a Question” and it would simply bring up a contact form, but it’s easy enough for visitors to click on the contact form if they have a question!

I had to look in documentation for 1 issue:
How to use the ORDER field in the posts. Found it is called orderby=menu_order.
Beside that I just did it ??

One wish: a column with ORDER-number in the overview of FAQ’s – to make it easy til place a new FAQ in between two others.

All I need is a simple FAQ page which lists by category. I have had issues with FAQ plugins before.
Free versions bloated with adware for the premium version, lite versions so lite they are useless, conflict after conflict with my standard plugins and ones that just don’t work.
I decided to have a last trawl through whats on offer before giving up on free FAQ plugins (I just don’t need the bells & whistles of the premium ones) and writing my own, when I saw this one.
When I see reviews with no one star ratings I get suspicious, usually no matter how good a plugin is someone will leave a one star either because the free version doesn’t have premium stuff added or else they are too ‘technically challenged’ to get it working (I am being very careful with my word selection here).
This plugin doesn’t even have any 2 star reviews wow….. really?
This means either people are doing things properly and raising support tickets for issues before slamming the plugin on the review site (how likely is that?), or this plugin works and is idiot proof.
After trying it I can confirm It really works and is (virtually) idiot proof, I don’t need to fiddle with shortcodes as [faq] on my FAQ page gives me everything I need, how easy is that…..
I had a little mess around with the shortcodes anyway and if I want other options the documentation is easy to follow.
Problem solved, quickly, simply and with minimum effort and I don’t have to spend Christmas day writing a plugin.
