On the plugin’s description page, you have a link for the demo which goes to https://demo.arconixpc.com/arconix-flexslider, which results in a DNS error when it redirects to https://arcnx.co/

Hi, I repeat this topic since the previous one is closed and they do not say how to solve the problem.

How can you put the flexlider in a central page and not in the sidebar?

In the documentation says that with a short code can do this, that code is [Arconix Flexslider], but I put it on a page and nothing happens, the same in an entry and nothing happens.

I’m using your plugin to display a custom post type of testimonial, and it works great! Thank you for offering this because many other sliders don’t.

In the Screenshots, I see that your example testimonial displays the author underneath the content. How did you do this? Did you just include it in the content area, or is this how you’re displaying the Title field? Just wondering because the screenshot is exactly what I need, and didn’t want to mess around with some janky CSS unless I need to.

Can you recommend a way to display the title field underneath the content instead of on top? Thanks so much!

Hello!!

I’m creating my wordpress theme from scratch and I want to add your slider on it. I’ve followed all the instructions and the slider is displaying, but not as a slider. It displays all the slides together, like a list of images.
Do you know what I might be doing wrong? Is there something else I must add to my theme to make the slider work properly?

Seems that clicking on the slider images to be taken to the posts doesn’t work in any browser besides IE. On top of that, clicking the arrows to move the slides doesn’t work in FireFox also.

Any fixes for this? Thanks for your help!

I have a really strange problem… The slider works normally, other than the fact that it stays locked on the first slide, until the full cycle through all of the slides has completed. To clarify, I currently have three slides, and they do not change at all until I click either arrow three times (or use the arrow keys). This applies to any amount of slides (ie. Five slides means that it will be frozen until it’s cycled through all of them)

I’m not getting any errors in the js console, I’m using the wp standard jQuery 1.8.3, I’ve tried moving the scripts up into the header (they are definitely after the css regardless), I’ve tried using smaller images for the slides (I thought maybe it was an issue with loading the images slowly), I’ve tried disabling the few scripts I’m using, but none of this is getting me any close to the cause…

I needed the “offset” support for the plugin and I implemented it in my copy but I guess it would be handy for others too.

It works almost out of the box, only needs the corresponding ‘offset’ property added to the plugin args in the plugin’s functions.php.

I’ve installed Arconix Flexslider with my Pinboard responsive theme hoping to use it as my front page slider but it’s not displaying anything except the Title.

The structure is there in the generated HTML from the <div class=”flex-container”> down to the <ul class=”slides”>

for all the posts, but nothing shows up. Fiddling with the HTML in Firebug, I can even add a “border:1px solid black” around where the slides should be but they’re just not showing. Any ideas why they’re invisible?

Maybe the documentation for the shortcode options could be better, specially for the values of the options.

My question is how can I change the colors of the nav buttons ?

great plugin indeed! However, I cant seem to make the shortcodes for categories/tags work. The slider pulls all posts with featured images, even tho I am specifying a category and/or a tag. Even specifying it in the functions.php doesnt help.

I love your slider plugin. The mobile response is fantastic!

Quick question, is there a way (I’m a CSS newbie) to have the images being used in the slider not link to posts? I’ve got the images working great by using them as “Featured Images” on posts. I just don’t want them to actually go anywhere, rather use them as pure rotating poster images.

I have some questions, some of them are very obvious, I can not imaging writing a slider plugin without coming across these questions (and some more) – you could save the user a lot of time by answering these in the documentation:

• is there a way to show the slider inside page content (shortcode)?
• how can i define which pages / posts does the slider use as content source?
• does the slider support ANY selection of certain posts, like categories, tags, date, whatever?
• is it possible to show page or post content inside slider
