For GDPR purposes, I would like to automatically delete all accounts when users have not logged in for more than 3 years (maybe less). Is there a way to achieve this within the armember plugin? Or do I have to create a cron?

In this case, in which tables should I delete data? And I also have to update WordPress and Mailster users tables as they are synchronized with Armember. This seems to me very complicated.

If anyone has already been in the same situation, any idea is welcome!

I have set a default cover picture for user profiles on my website, but users are currently able to change it. I would like to find a way to disable this functionality so that users cannot change the cover picture once it has been set.

Could you please advise on how I can prevent users from changing their cover picture while still allowing the default to be displayed?

In the ARMember lite plugin, manage member page, can i have only members list who has only free membership / paid membership. but it is showing all the backend user lists also. How can i show only membership people in that page and directory page?

I would like to have a free plan, that expires after a duration of 5 days.
The member shall have the chance to upgrade to another, paid plan, afterwards.
So, like a trial but as a separate, expiring plan.

I created a “paid plan” with 0 €, but then i have to place a payment gateway in the registration form, what I don’t want.

How can I manage this issue?

So there is no possibility to login because I have no access to the wordpress dashboard. Therefore I am not able to change the AR member settings. Also, i thought i disabled “hide wp-login.php page” and generally can’t figure out the problem. is there anyone here who can help me? thanks in advance!

Hello, I am trying your plugin and it goes beyond all others by far !

But one thing is really disturbing me : the content restriction block does not appear in the available blocks when editing the Widgets (I have sidebar that has specific content for logged in users only) and when editing the Patterns. I use Gutenberg editor for both cases. It works well on Posts and Pages block editor but the Arm block restriction is not available in the two cases mentioned !!! Why ?!!

Hello, when a user clicks the “Lost Your Password” link on the login page and then enters their username/email no email gets sent to the user. Other ARmember emails are sending fine and other WordPress emails are going through fine, just not the “Lost Your Password” one. Is there a fix for this?

Something happended with the last update. I cannot login to my site, I turned off the spam function and I still get ‘Spam detected’ above the login form.?I have tried several days in a row now and I also have other spam tools and they are no reporting any issues.

I have to manually go into the cpanel and deactivate the arm plugin to get into the wordpress dashboard.?Pease advise what to do.

the url show the referral link after login… but these pages are free for all unlogged users.

The payment summary on the configure sign up page is not functioning properly.

[PLAN_AMOUNT] shows the correct plan amount, but when a coupon is applied the amount appears to spin to recalculate and then returns the original plan amount

[DISCOUNT_AMOUNT] does not return the discount amount when a coupon is applied

[PAYABLE_AMOUNT] returns 0.00 even though there is the correct charge in the plan amount field

Hello! After some ARMember update (I guess) the start page of our website can’t be accessed by the public anymore. Visitors get re-directed to the login page by ARMember. Access to the page had never been restricted by ARmember before. I tried to reset the access rules for the page by toggling on/off/on and re-saving, but to no luck. What can I do?

sorry to bother, I’m not a real developer but I’m looking to create for a client an apparently simple Membership area where the administrator occasionally can upload documents or invoices and link them directly to registered members, that they eventually can later view in their page and download.
I don’t need a paid memberships but I would like to have the customers be able to register themselves.

Also, do I need some add ons in order to achieve this?

I’ve used (100%) coupon codes before with success – the new user was registered and the payment gateway was bypassed (ie no payment was made, which is correct)

Last week a customer complained that a partial coupon was accepted on the registration page, but when she was directed to the payment gateway the full amount was still being displayed. (ie coupon wasn’t applied at payment gateway)

Then my website was migrated to another hosting company.

Today I tried to replicate the problem, but now the partial coupon is applied on the registration page (which is correct) BUT the payment gateway is bypassed AND the user was registered (meaning no payment was made – which is incorrect)

Hi, I am getting an error issues it says I need to configure More Gateway, I don’t see away to configure more gateway (Atleast one payment gateway configuration is required for paid plan(s) selection.) I don’t see a drop down menu to configure more gateway or different gateway plan. I was watching the video the video on Section 2 has a drop down menu to configure gateway the one I have which is basic don’t have that drop down menu bar.

I clicked on “Forgot Password”, normally received email with the link which should normally leading me to the page where I could change the password. But the link is leading me to login page instead of change password page.

I use your plugin with two steps: first one ist only create the user account, second step is to select a payed membership with already loged in. This works.

But “normaly” it has to work with both at the same form. So I have created this test page.

If you just type in an EMail Adress and select Banktransfer it won’t create an user account. Nothing will happen.

Payment history is without any username, username is empty, the same with banktransfers.

Mail logs are empty.

I can deactivate all my plugins and it will be the same. Is it perhaps the theme?

Is it possible for the a user’s account to actually be created only after the payment has been completed/is successful. I am using woocommerce and a payment gateway called pesapal. However the account is created even before the user completes payment. In cases where it has failed. The user still has access to the site. In many occasions, if they sign-up again using alternative payment, they are told their emails/account already exists. This is quite confusing and frustrating to some.

I would like to know what happens to the user’s role when their membership expires or cancels – NOT if they downgrade manually. ARMember allocates a user role that we can specify (for example, Author) to people when they register for a specific level. I would like to have them lose this role automatically and gain a different role (eg Subscriber) when their subscription expires. From what I understand, downgrading is an optional setting in the membership plan settings, so I guess users will have to downgrade manually. I want the downgrade to be automatic, and if possible have different users downgrade to different roles automatically, eg Premium Role 1 downgrades to Normal Role 1 and Premium Role 2 downgrades to Normal Role 2.

For cancelling their subscription, I see there is an option to allow them to continue to use their subscription until it expires, so I would also like to ask this question for this scenario too.

I would like to offer users a limited, one-off (ie one per person) free trial before they purchase a paid subscription. Can we do this in ARMember?

Edit:

Just found there is a trial period toggle in the “Manage Plans” -> edit individual plan -> “Plan Type & Price” section.

Then my second question is, when does the user get charged – after their trial finishes? And if so, how do we enable email reminders that their free trial is ending and they will start to be charged? I don’t see a trial end reminder email in the 13 email templates available.

Hello,

I am facing issue on my website. The customers advised me once they cancel the subscription in their profile there is no option to renew it. I can see in the settings in “Current Membership Buttons Options” that “Display Renew Subscription Button” is on but is taking no action and not displaying anywhere. That means the customer has to create new subscription and make a new registration on my website what is very inconvenient.

Can anyone help me how to solve this issue?

I previously bough the pro plugin for a website, that website got abandoned and never used it and no longer have access to. I then created a new website but cannot use my LICENCE??? 

it says please remove the licence from the old website… how ?

I tried submitting a removal request but the form doesn’t work and keeps saying make sure u typed the name correctly. why the hell is you system like that ? 

when I put a new website just remove the old one if u want to limit 1 website per licence …

I need help with the automatic email notifications in ARMember.

Right now, my email notifications are set to be sent through WordPress, as PHP isn’t working, and I haven’t managed to connect SMTP either.

In any case, there is no problem receiving emails for native automations; I’m referring to functions already built by ARMember, such as profile updates or password changes. However, I’ve created two functions myself for account closure and membership cancellation, and I’m not receiving those emails.

I’ve tried everything—any ideas on what might be going wrong?
