Hello, we always receive an email with a fatal error when we refund an order in WooCommerce. The refund itself works without any problems, but the error always occurs. Can you help us?
The debug log indicates an error in your plugin, whereby the ID (example here 10348) never corresponds to the corresponding order, but is a little higher than the actual order ID:

Hi Activity Log
I think I found an issue with uploading files with weird characters and WP_DEBUG enabled.
Sample filename:
A text document ?blegr?d! med m?rkelige tegn ??? ??? #-????????.txt
It is described in https://core.trac.www.ads-software.com/ticket/62239 as I first thought it was a WordPress beta problem, but it is definitely connected to Activity Log
Is that something you can reproduce?
]]>Hi there
Thanks for this great plugin. I use it with woocommerce. However, it does not seem to log any user activity, only admin. Is there a setting I need to tweak? I would like to log when users login etc…
]]>Hi there!
Is there any way to get monthly emailed reports to myself?
Thanks!
]]>It would be lovely if you could set an option if you would like users to be able to comment on actions:
i.e: you want to install a plugin, a popup asks you to comment on this action. The comment is saved along the activity log.
A few years later you wonder why this plugin was installed and read back in the log your comment.

Hi, will this log Buddypress friends request and private messages?
Thank you

Hello.
i have in my activity log thousands of rows from admin users.
they are a couple of second apart but all have the topic post, Context: order. Action: updated and in the meta is the same woocommerce order.
i filtered today and admins and i have 6k rows. of “updating” the same order every couple of second.
see attached prt scr
]]>I have an activity logged, but I don’t know what it means. The topic is “Options” with blank Context, and then the Meta is “sidebars_widgets” and the Action is Updated. I have no idea what this line means. My theme crashed right about this time, so I think this might indicate what happened. I would love some insight on this. Thanks.
]]>It seems like the data is being recorded:
but when I’m looking in the activity logs the post id doesn’t seem to be visible anywhere? Am I missing something?
]]>How to exclude the administrator user from the data?
]]>As you can see when trying to see the revisions on multisite for some reason /network/ is added to url…
So because of this instead of link like:
/wp-admin/revision.php?revision=236
The link looks like:
/wp-admin/network/revision.php?revision=236
Which results in “File not found.” page and not revision page.
I’m testing out this plugin to see if it will work for my client. We have custom roles set up with another plugin (User Role Editor) and a user can have multiple roles to allow access to specific parts of the website. When logging the user activity, the user is listed as “unknown” making the filtering by role useless. With over 500 users, we need this capability. Let me know if this is something the plugin can be fixed to accommodate or if I need to move onto testing another.
]]>Hi,
The activity log is not saving anything for more than 12 hours.
No matter what we change in the settings, no older activity appears.
It is set to keep logs for 180 days.

]]>I posted about this last year, but we decided to roll back to PHP 7.4 until we had more time to look into the issue. I hired a consultant to look at the multisite server and see if something other than Activity Log was causing the Critical Errors. My steps to seeing the Critical Error is after spinning up a new site on the multisite, I then go to /wp-admin/options-general.php. I change the timezone to New York and the day to Sunday. Click save changes and then get a Critical Error page. Here is what the consultant found. I hope this helps. If we deactivate Activity Log before updating the time/day settings we do not get the error. Also if we only update 1 of the settings with Activity Log active, we do not get the error. Only when updating both settings and then trying to save. Thank you! ------------------- [16-May-2024 19:42:46 UTC] PHP Fatal error:? Hi! I would like to ask, if I had set the settings inside Activity Log to not collect IP addresses, does it means that whatever activities happened in my site, Activity Log will not collect, or store IP address? So, during the entire period when it is on, I would be complied with GDPR by not having consent from my users, since their IP addresses is collect (I do not collect any other PII from my users, as well as from other plugins)?
With this settings on, I could be ensure that at all time, this plugin will not store and collect any IP addresses from any of the failed login attempt, successful login attempts, activities in my site and etc?
Is there a way to add custom columns? Or export custom columns? My client wants to include the users email address in the CSV, not just the username. Thanks!
]]>The plugin does not display in the table the version to which WordPress has been updated.
It also does not save backup creation by plugins such as Duplicator and UpdraftPlus.
]]>Hello,
I’d like to know if there’s a native or easy way to automatically send activity log also to a tier system via webhook ?
Has someone already done so, via hooks or so ?
Customization of the output would be an extra feature.
Best regards,
Antoine

]]>Hi just a general question, certain plugin developers on my site often ask for admin access. I give them their own account. Last week I noticed that one of my admin users permission has changed and 2. 6 pages were deleted would this plugin allow me to see who did what
]]>Hello, why my meta data transaction date not same as date column?
]]>Please add a function to delete selective actions.

]]>Currently, the Activity Log is showing in the WP Admin Sidebar for non-admin users, such as an Editor. When accessing the log, it’s empty. The settings are not visible, so that is good, but I don’t think the Log should be accessible/visible to anyone but Admins.
]]>Please consider adding row numbering to the log table to make them easier to count.
]]>Is there an easy way to write to this log via a PHP snippet?
]]>Great plugin! It’s compact and efficient.
Dear developer, please make the date display format match what is set in the general WordPress settings. Or so that you can choose an optional format in the plugin settings.
Thank you!
]]>First of all, Thanks a lot for the plugin!
We create and update many posts and media every day and we don’t have a use for these logs.
I read on other topics about a filter on this new update, so after updating I checked the settings page but couldn’t find any new filter or info about it.
How can I filter/disable these? Maybe a functions.php snippet or else?
Thank you!
Best regards,
