Hi I would like my content to look like it does in the ebay selling page. Link given above.
I particularly like the way that the text is shortened to ensure that that all the items are uniform unlike the current options. Can this be done with css? If so can someone do it for me please?

It is with regret that after 14 years, the Your eBay Profile and Your eBay Feedback tools are being retired. This means that the ability to create new snippets for these tools has been removed and existing snippets will soon cease to function.

Unfortunately, eBay has scheduled the data source for these tools to be decommissioned in February 2025. With no alternative available, it will no longer be possible to provide these tools.

The tools will continue to function as normal until the Shopping API is decommissioned in February 2025. At this time, the tools will cease to function and no content will be displayed on the page.

I did not take this decision lightly and I apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Your eBay Listings

The good news is that the Your eBay Listings tool will continue to function as normal. This tool has already been migrated to the new Browse API and will continue to be supported.

Note

While it remains technically possible to request profile and feedback information from eBay using their APIs, new authorization requirements make it unfeasible to continue to provide these tools.

When I tried to see results for my ID on your page it took forever loading… loading… loading… loading… and that’s it. Adblock disabled, JS working line.

If I use few other ebay IDs its work fine. What is wrong?

If I put Gold in the Auction Nudge keyword – I get a watch
If I put Gold Proof in the Auction Nudge keyword – I get a coin
If I put Gold Plated in the Auction Nudge keyword – I see all my gold-plated

I just want to see all items with gold – why isn’t this working?

I’ve been using this plugin for a while now without any issues and all of a sudden the listings have stopped appearing (in the our shop section). It looks like the plugin is functioning but no listings display… I’ve tried turning off the cache in the plugin as I saw that had been recommended in another thread.

Any ideas?

Hey there, first off, Auction Nudge is awesome!

But I found a bug that I can’t seem to fix in settings. All listings display correctly on my page when JPGs are used, but if I use PNG images, these listings look great on eBay, but Auction Nudge shows the images as tiny small “thumbnails” instead of the standard images seen on eBay/

If you view the link, most listings on the page look nice, but as you go to the next page you will see some where the images are SMALL. These are the listings with PNGs instead of JPG.

I could fix this in the future by just converting all PNG images to JPG, but hopefully there’s a fix that would have these images just display correctly as they do on eBay.

Any help is appreciated, and thanks for the great plugin!

I am using this great plugin to show a charity’s ebay products on its website.

It shows all the charity’s products fine. But there are other ebay users who, when listing their own products, have named this charity as benefiting from their sales (i.e., the Ebay for Charity scheme).

When you click on a charity’s ebay page, you see *all* products that benefit the charity – i.e., those sold by the charity themselves and those products sold by others.

Would you be able to update the plugin with a setting that will allow me to control whether the products sold by others are also displayed?

I’m just having an issue styling the output as you have defined a lot of CSS on the actual HTML elements (with style=”whatever: whatever;”). Please could you move that CSS to your stylesheet, so the styles can be overridden where desired.

Also, I notice quite a few HTML elements have id=””. Please could you remove all those empty id attributes, cheers. ??

Hi. At this time plugin provide only general eBay categories. Is there any possibilities to use eBay Store categories?

This could be very helpful option for many users who use plugin to promote they own eBay store. Let say I have a bookstore. There are number of Store categories like Children’s Books, Antiquarian Books, Art Books, etc. But in existing setting all these categories embedded in one general eBay category “Books”.

Hello there, i have an issue with false shown images. Althought in ebay the images have the same size , using the plugin i get only the2 first clear and the size i set and the rest are blur and smaller.

I’ve successfully used your plugin for years and have enjoyed the simplicty of it’s use while also being able to customize what items are being shown for sale from eBay. After upgrading to WP 6.4.1 yesterday, none of my listings show on my Shop page. It also is taking an extremely long time to load.

I’ve tried changing every setting in the Auction Nudge plugin, deactivating and reactivating, deleting the plugin and trying a full reconfiguration, even creating a new page and trying your shortcode generator to see if it works. Nothing. I’ve checked the page on both Chrome and Edge and both have extremely long load times before nothing is shown.

I don’t know what else to say except, please help! ??

Hi. Big fan of the plug-in. Have used it for years on hundreds of different pages across my sports history website, with each page linking back to my e-Bay store to relevant inventory items, curated by using the Filter by Keyword tool under Advanced Options.

Recently I noticed that the plug-in was not working across nearly my entire website. In the sections where the Short Code was pasted, nothing was displaying at all. In the past, there would be a “No Items Found” result (or words to that effect – I can’t remember exactly) if a particular item was not in stock. Now nothing displays at all where the plug-in should be, regardless of whether I have available inventory or not. There is just a blank space on the page as if there was no Short Code in use at all.

After poking around and experimenting for a long time, I discovered that the plug-in still works fine if the Filter by Keyword tool is left blank! On one of the two URLs I have provided (Lynn Pirates page), you can scroll down to the heading “Lynn Pirates Shop” towards the bottom of the page. You will see that Auction Nudge is displaying and is properly linking to my e-Bay store. But it is displaying a half-dozen irrelevant results to the page, because I have left the Filter by Keyword field blank.

On the other URL I have provided (Lynn Sailors), all settings are identical, except that I have entered a series of relevant terms in the Filter by Keywords field. They are entered using the following format: (Lynn Sailors,Lynn Pirates, Massachusetts Mad Dogs,North Shore Spirit). Nothing at all displays under the “Lynn Sailors Shop” heading, even though the Short Code is there.

I have recreated this dynamic on numerous pages across my website. Not just the two I submitted as samples. The plug-in will only display now if the Filter By Keyword field is left empty. As soon as I add anything to that field, it vanishes again.

My apologies, but shouldn’t the short code have more destination related info beyond “listings”? I followed the install for my Children’s Brain Tumor client and nothing comes up. Should I be pasting the SC somewhere other than a text module?

First, thank you for the great plugin – it really does simplify the process of creating an online auction. I do have one question that I couldn’t find covered in the forum: If you look at the main auction image on my page, I had to make it small in order to have it display on a smartphone properly. When I made it large for the PC screen, it didn’t reduce it on cellphone screens. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi, This plugin was working fine until recently. In the preview within the plugin it all loads fine. The filters and additional settings on the shortcode generator works. However when added to a page, it says “no item found”?

After running my site through gtmetrix recently, I’m noticing that the plugin is loading assets on every page, even though I only have the plugin configured to show on a few specific pages. It’s making calls to assets-auctionnudge.s3.amazonaws.com on every single page load. How do I stop this plugin from loading assetts except on the few pages where the shortcodes are set to load?

before anything else, great plugin by the way.
im using elementor popup to display ebay listing of store. im using the code snippet and ive uninstaled the plugin. the popup is on the Shop -> Volkswagen . in preview mode i can see the listing properly but on the live website, its just a blank page. any help is much appreciated.

other Info: im using html widget and paste the snippet.

also i see this error on my console “Auction Nudge Error: Container #auction-nudge-e7fc3d19d not found.”

I’m in the Auction Nudge plugin for WordPress and I change the number of items listed, size of photos, and style of layout. I click ‘Preview’ then copy the code and paste onto the main page and update. No matter what I choose, the listing style never changes. It’s always the ‘Responsive’ style with 6 items.

I try changing the settings, paste, update, reload and it’s always the same. I’ve tried different browsers and it always shows the default.

Any ideas?

How do I remove “ebay listings from auction nudge” right at the bottom? I understand you make money through ebay partnership (thats fine), but having this right at the bottom, will show up in search results.

it really should be an option to show or not, I rather a clean way to do it, otherwise will just hide it in a hacky way (so it will be hidden regardless).

First I wanted to thank you for this great plugin which simplifies the life!

Then I meet difficulties to show the panel “eBay feedback” in my language (french). I put the shortcode :
[auction-nudge tool=”feedback” lang=”french”]
The preview in the shortcodes tool generator is correct, but on the website page it shows it in english.

If you could see the problem, it would be very appreciated.
