I am working on a Woocommerce Website for a client. He wants to have Auctions added to his store, so I am checking out your plugin.
First thing I noticed: My store is completely in German – but as soon as I activate your plugin, the “Add to Cart” button, which was previously shown as “In den Warenkorb” (in German language) is now shown in English language. A translation via Loco Translate does not change this!
I have not even set up any auction products yet – the button is shown in English in the product archive template (function woocommerce_template_loop_add_to_cart() ). When I deactivate your plugin, the button is correctly shown in German again.

]]>I’ve been using this plugin for a while and this has always been a pain. If I need to make an edit to the listing, it causes the whole listing to fail. Now when I try to make an edit, when I hit update, the whole thing crashes and just goes to an error page. I pretty much got in the habit of just creating a whole new product listing just to make one small change. There has to be a way to fix this.

Also the string “(Enter more than or equal to:” can’t be translated.
No bids yet: won’t show the dutch translation on the page (translated with Loco).
Can you please give me a solution to translate these in Dutch?

]]>It is not possible to overbid your own highest bid. If you do so then the message appears ‘Your bid is winning, no need to place again.’. But if the reserve price has not been met yet and nobody else places a bid, then I cannot win the auction. This does not make sense at all.
Is there a solution to this?

]]>My listings show the images on the left and the title with short description on the right. At the bottom, there are two tabs for bid history and long description. I would love to either have the long description show up below the images/short description so there are no tabs. I have a lot of people that don’t see the long description tab.
If this isn’t possible, can the tab order be changed between the bid history and long description? On my listings, the bid history shows up first automatically.

I have an auction that will be starting that has a lot of items. I want to put together that is just a list of auctions and their current bid. Only want the title and the current bid and obviously the title linked to the item page. Is there a shortcode I can do this with? I have 130 auctions in one category that will be starting soon.
]]>I have a custom template for my single products, which has some functions hooked into woocommerce_single_product_summary. Where/how is the auction form hooked into the product summary? I want to change the priority so it appears lower down than my other custom stuff.
This is just a mock up site at the moment.
I’ve been working on integrating this plugin with our site and I am unsure of which woocommerce settings control the following items.
1. The background color of the Time box.
2. The text in the timer box.
3. The background color of the bid now button/box?
4. The text in the bid now box.

I have found this plugin very useful, but do have a few suggestions.
E-MAIL
First of all, after installing the plugin, I had to test it of course. So I posted one, and uploaded it “private”. The bossman found it hilarious, but as Admins can’t bid on their own posted auctions, I had to create a fake account, publish the fake thing for a few minutes and place a bid to see what would happen. The plugin mailed the ENTIRE customer list saying an auction had started!!! (I alsmost got fired because of that). Suggestion here is: Make that optional, and not default.
TESTING
It would also be very nice if there is a “testing option” so only admins get mails of ANY kind, and can bid on their own testing items. This will allow them to see what is going on, see how things are translated (I’m Dutch) and see who gets what and when.
Suggestion here is: Please fix this to avoid people deleting the plugin due to incomplete and/or bad testing.
COLORS
After a bid is placed, a bar appears at the top of the auction saying “bid placed succesfully”. I think the plugin uses standard theme colors, but I have altered them on our site. This means the bar is dark green and the letters are black. That makes ‘m very hard to read. As I can’t place a bid as poster/admin, I also can’t see which CSS I should alter and test that, as I can’t overbid myself.
Suggestion here is: Make it possible to test and/or alter colors
That being said, I love the initiative of this plugin, we/me/our webshop is hoping to auction off all of the items that got resent to us, things that got a damaged packaging, and the courses that are not yet full.
Please pickup on the suggestions, love your work sofar!

This plugin creates some new email notification types – auction start, end, win and outbid. However, when enabled, we are not getting (or seeing email logs for) these emails in our testing.
We also notice that the Auction Win and Auction End email recipients seem to be static settings (defaulting to the site admin), rather than set to go to the customer. It seems like those emails should go to the customer.

I use the plugin “WCFM – WooCommerce Multivendor Marketplace” on my shop. I installed the lite version to check if your plugin is compatible with the other plugin. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The auctions are not displayed in the “WCFM – WooCommerce Multivendor Marketplace”.
“WCFM – WooCommerce Multivendor Marketplace” has a separate area where products are created. At this point, I cannot add the product to an auction. This area is unfortunately a core function of my shop and therefore very important.
