Love the player, my problem is that the audio (a 1 minute 45 second, 1.6mb mp3 file) cuts out at 22 seconds every time played. I’ve checked the original audio file and that is fine. You can see the player here: https://www.cardiff-speech-and-drama.co.uk/ Any help would be much appreciated. I don’t want to use an alternative player.

Hi,
I’m using the Audio Link Player Plugin it and works for me. I have multiple songs in one post. Each songs has its player as what Audio Link do. However, how to automatically stop the first currently played player when the second one is played?
Example, there is Song A and Song B on one post. Song A is clicked to play and when I click to play Song B, Song A should be stopped.
Thanks.

Hello,
I do not understand what HTML code leads to what audio player being produced. In particular, what does “single line” links mean, and what is an HTML example?
Thanks.

Thank you for the great plugin. It surprised me, but people sometimes skip over the inline player in single lines without noticing it. Is there a way to turn off the animation so that it is automatically expanded?

I am finding with some larger MP3s (5Mbyte) that the player just sits there with a “buffering…” message, and does not play the audio. The MP3 link still works fine and plays almost immediately through an external media player. Checking network access through Firebug, the MP3 does download fully and quickly, so I am guessing the Flash is not handling it properly.

And those bright red contribution nags that appear all over the place – they are am embarrassment. Please remove them. If you don’t, you will find your plugin forked or copied, and then you will lose a lot more. That’s not a threat; it is just an inevitable way that people work around annoyances on the Internet.

I’m seeing that both the inline and single audio players have identical classes: “audio-link-player”.
I’d recommend that this class both be prefixed (it’s not super specific) and differentiated by type (e.g. “alp-inline-player”, “alp-single-player” etc.).

The plugin works fine with wp 3.1, however it conflicts with its editor (i use the default one).
When the plugin is activated, the editor loses the visual mode and clicking on Plugin->Editor (in the dashboard), i just obtain a empty page.
If i deactive the plugin the editor works fine too.
I really like this plugin and hope you’ll fix this bug asap.

I was checking out this plugin in test install when I saw that in addition to the donate info in the plugin’s options page which was cool, there was also 600px x 500px widget to donate to plugin author in the admin dashboard as well which is not cool at all. In addition, since I activated it Network-wide, the donate widget box was in all dashboards of subsites. The big widget in dashboards is not only seen by the Super Admin but for all other user role levels as well.
I’ve since deleted the plugin from test install. Those huge dashboard prompts are, in many ways, as intrusive and obtrusive than other plugins which have been removed from the WP repo have been.
At the end of the that donate widget in dashboard, there’s a line
After donation you will possibly get to know how you can hide this notice easily
I don’t know how much you have to donate to hide the eyesore, but at a glance – haven’t tested it – you can “hide” the prompt by deleting the following lines in the plugin’s donate.php:
delete – Add_Action('wp_dashboard_setup', Array($this, 'register_widget'));
delete –
<?php do_action('donation_message') ?>
