I’m using the 100% FREE version of the plugin. It does everything I want it to which is to allow me to embed a custom playlist of local MP3 along with basic metadata and album covers.
What it doesn’t do is provide attractive, customizable styling – the free version is a little 1990’s looking. And the free version provides no widget but there are shortcodes for embedding playlists into pages. And there’s no built-in analytics for plays/completions/etc. Also, the volume controls have some minor accessibility failures as flagged by Google Lighthouse and Axe DevTools.
I would consider upgrading to Pro to gain more styling customization but it’s an annual license as opposed to one-time fee. The only viable competitor in the FREE category is Sonaar which is more modern/polished looking but it has its own issues/challenges without unlocking its Pro version which is slightly more expensive.

Been looking for this for 3 years. a simple plugin where you can listen to the music… if you like you can download. PERIOD!!!! Everyone has too make pay system and if it’s free downloads, you still need to set up in a store and set price to $0. and it work right in our community.

Description is misleading, it says 100% compatible with Elementor but you don’t get an Elementor Widget unless you buy the pro. The most important “compatbility” with Elementor is a widget, nobody wants to go through all the extra steps to create a shortcode and insert it. Should say Usable with Elementor via shortcode. So I searched on “elementor audio player” installed it, couldn’t find widget went back checked description and thought it DOES say elementor then read further it’s only if you buy pro. Big waste of time and to nobody’s advantage to have people waste time installing uninstalling.

I tried a dozen player plugins before committing to AudioIgniter. There are enough options open to me with Igniter, that I always find a pleasing look for the player. My student clients were impressed when they accessed my site and found the audio files were organized. And the page, for the first time, looked soooo slick. Thank you!

I love the way a simple music player can turn into a sophisticated one without the hassle. Of course the integration with WordPress is perfect.
The UI is fantastic and there many other players out there that could use such a beautiful yet usable user interface.

Its really good. The design is pretty cute too. Its is simple but well function. The dev also SUPER NICE too! Although I’m free user atm, but when I asked for colour customization coding, he helped me anyways. The important thing, AudioIgniter really fits my WordPress. Really reccomend it ?? ??
