This is just a feedback to tell you I just sent the Spanish translation for es_MX, es_ES and es_VE locales.
I noticed that the plugin has more than 3 years without updates. This is one of your most popular plugins: right now it has +10,000 active installations.
It will be great if you update the code to be compatible with the last WordPress version.

There seems to be time when data to be collected is not extracted.
A large amount of continuous data may be extracted as if all articles were accessed. This is common to smartphone users. The person concerned actually does not have access. WordPress theme is Twenty Fourteen. Is it counted only by the article being displayed in the list? But there are times when it is beyond that. *This has occurred long ago.

If so, do you have any solution?
Excel is having troubles to read the downloaded CSV file properly when it contains accented characters.
To reproduce:
– Download a CSV file with targets that contain non-English characters (such as é, ?, ü, etc)
– Opening with Microsoft Excel will result UTF-8 compliant issue
Observed Results: “TestPageDraft fran?§ais”
Expected Results: “TestPageDraft fran?ais”
My audit trail install is doing nothing. The output tables remain empty.
When I look in the wordpress debug.log, I see that the audit_trail table doesn’t seem to exist.
When does it get created?
I’ve tried starting with a new install, I’ve tried using specific dbprefixes, and I’ve tried deactivating and reactivating the plugin.
Here is what I get in my logs:

For reference / note to self: there might be a possible workaround in using the custom 'audit_trail'
capability.
Audit Trail lists logs with their URLs.
But if using encoded Japanese URLs, they are encoded and can’t be read.
it looks like this:

So please decode it or use post title instead of URL.

As of August 8th at about 1:50am Audit Trail has been showing this in the log. I also just enabled Audit Trail on that day / time so it may been going on longer. It shows as no user, and all the stuff it says is being deleted, their is actually nothing there. The IP address lists as godaddy.com
What is going on?

I loved this plugin. It allowed me to search based on User ID, and pull up any and all pages/files this user has accessed.
But for some reason the Audit Trail search bar suddenly disappeared?
I don’t know if an update caused it or something else. But it’s gone.
Anyway to get it back?
]]>hi,
great plugin!
just one question, every time i save the menu (Appearance -> menus) i get a lot of logs saying i have “save page” all of the items in the menu.
i work only with pages if it helps.
any help would be appreciated.
avner.
Does anyone know how you can ignore anonymous users, and just keep a track on registered ones? What ID do I have to input in the ‘ignore’ field to achieve this?
Thanks a ton in advance!
]]>Selecting to move a page forward only moves one record…there are manual fixes for this but would be great if the plug-in was fixed and updated.
We support you but only use this on two very small company websites, so we’re not a big user…anyway if you could fix would be helpful.
Love the plug-in otherwise, great for tracking what pages a client views and obviously following up on potential sales – thanks for making it available!

]]>I installed Audit Trail on an extranet site I developed for a client so that they could monitor who was using it and paid commercial donation of $42. The Audit Trail screen currently shows 794 items with 32 screens of 25 events. However if you scroll from the 1st screen to the second screen the event at the top of the screen is removed and it shows the next 25 events – so repeating 24 events that were on the 1st screen. The next screen removes the top event again, thus repeating 24 events from screen 2 and so on, so you are unable to see all 794 events shown. However if you download a csv file it does show all 794 events. Please can you help?
]]>If the plugin is activated network-wide, it only inserts the database table for the root site, instead of all sites. The user has to manually activate the plugin on each individual site in order for the database table to be created.
Also, it’s be nice to have a single Options page if the plugin is activated network-wide, instead of having to duplicate the settings on each individual site.
