We have an online store using woo commerce and the Aus Post extension (ecopot.com.au). When adding single products to the cart the shipping costs match the Australia Post cost calculator page exactly however this changes when adding multiple different products.
For example if you add the 24/7 Retro thermal cooker to the cart and assign a location of NSW + Five Dock + 2046 you get $33.05, however if you then add another product like the Silicone Mat to the order as well the cost drops to $22.85.
Now, if you then remove the 24/7 unit and add it back in, (now added 2nd to the cart) you get a completely different shipping total of $46.65.
So that is 2x different prices for the exact 2 same items, all depending on what order they get added to the cart. This issue seems to exist mainly with the 24/7 unit as you will get similar behaviours if you replace the Silicone Mat with say a Carry Bag and add it with the 24/7.
For testing, I removed the current theme and all plugins and reinstalled only WordPress, Woo Commerce and Aus Post and still get the same issues, so I don’t think this is a plugin conflict as the default theme and fresh installs of the core frameworks get the same price issues. I have since restored the site to full working order.
Checking the forums the most common outcome is update the plugin however the extension version is 1.10.6, the current most updated version at time of writing.
Further testing, we have another site that also sells the Silicone Mat, so I created a test product with the same dimensions as the 24/7 unit on the Ecopot site for the test product on this site, and also have the same issues with the cost dropping / changing when adding them both to the cart and calculating the shipping costs – perhaps it is to do with the dimensions of the unit 38x34x34 / 5kg, as that seems to be the common denominator.
So, that is the exact same issue on 2x different sites that both use the same Aus Post plugin (and had almost identical items created and added to the carts for testing), which makes me think the issue may be plugin related or how the plugin is dealing with a bulky package when combining it with multiple items, but I could be wrong. Regardless I think I need some help to solve this one.
Thanks in advance.
]]>Hi,
I’m wondering if this app has this capability.
My website sells some products that are bulky/heavy. I have assigned a shipping class to these. For these particular products, I would like to assign Australia post to generate a price. For all products, I would like to have a flat rate shipping fee instead.
Currently, I’m seeing the Australia Post pricing for ALL products and the flat rate fee is also visible. So far I can’t find a way to assign my Shipping Class to Australia Post.
I would appreciate any help! Thank you ??
When a couple of your plugins are used together a fail error occurs when adding to card with restricted options on product enabled when running php 8.3. downgrade to 7.4 resolves the issue or disabling restricted product plugin

I’ve got the Aus Post plugin installed, and woocommerce, but I can’t get it to work because the Shipping tab isn’t showing up in Settings! I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled and that didn’t help. Any ideas?!
EDIT: Sorted! Turns out the Settings -> General tab had an option for “Ship to all countries you sell to” that we had set to something about no shipping.
]]>hi, there
i put some products into cart and the postage to NSW shipped from NSW costs much more than to anywhere eg NT? It does not seems right?
]]>Is it possible to show the shipping methods in australia post shipping by zipcode/post code only without the need to enter full address? is that possible?
]]>Hi,
Thanks for creating the plugin, however we are having an issue of orders not being synced to Austpost? Could you advise on how to fix this please? Tried testing it with FREE shipping in the same zone with Austpost shipping
Thanks
Hi, the shipping cost calculated by your plugin calculates the same shipping cost for 1 item -v- 10 of that same item.
Help appreciated.
]]>Hey,
An error occurs when I try to add 200 plus quantities; it works with small quantities. when I remove this plugin I’m able to add products to the cart with 1000 plus quantity. Can you help me why I’m not able to add 200 plus or higher quantity?
Currently we are facing timeout issue on qty updating more than 100.
I check this same plugin with other site. But also not working with same timeout issue.
No matter what I do it says Local Shipping only, really weird. Does this send international as well? The documentation seems to say so but cannot figure this plugin out sorry.
]]>Hi there,
I’m hoping someone can help me out with the way our shipping options are presented at our woocommerce checkout.?
Currently, our shipping options only show the click & collect or free shipping (if the cart is at the free shipping threshold of $100) and not all shipping options are showing until the customer has manually input their location.
It’s very confusing to show partial shipping options at the cart. I’ve had a lot of feedback from customers who are having difficulty and we’ve had many customers select “click & collect” when they intend to ship.
I am hoping to either, show all options based on geolocation or show none until the customer enters their location.
We followed earlier instruction from the support team but then they stopped replying. It’s been almost 2 months… This was their instruction however it hasn’t worked.
“Please, go to WooCommerce => Settings => General and change the?“Default customer location”?option to Geolocate.”
We are still finding that unless the customer is logged into their account with the address saved, or manually enters their location at cart, it still only presents the click and collect option or free shipping option.?
We are hoping to show all shipping options to customers as soon as they land on the cart. Is it possible to show them all options via geolocation or another means, without them needing to have a logged-in account?
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!
]]>HI, In the past week my postage costs do not seem to be accurate (more like generic charges) from Australia Post. Is there an issue?
]]>Hi,
I downloaded and set up the free version of this plugin, would like it to calculate the shipping fee for shipping to New Zealand from Australia. However, there is even no shipping option. I searched several similar questions, and I tried to change the dimensions unit from cm to mm to cm again. But not helpful.
I will attach screenshot below. Thank you for helping.
]]>Hi folks, is there any movement on making it compatible with high-performance order storage? If so, any ballpark timings (I know, dumb question, it’s just that I’m sending up a demo site for a potential customer so if it’s being worked on it would be good to know ?? )
At the moment we get the warning: “This plugin is incompatible with the enabled WooCommerce feature ‘High-Performance order storage (COT)’, it shouldn’t be activated.”
No doubt you already know, but link to dev docs anyway here. If they manage to stick to timelines it’s due to be the default around the end of the year.

I have just realised that one of my products is not calculating freight correctly and I am not sure why. I have even tried setting up a whole new product but makes no difference. Basically a customer purchased on express post to WA and the difference was about $60. Unfortunately I had to contact the customer and he was not pleased.
Any suggestions please?
]]>G’day I’m trying to setup a shipping method so that I can give free shipping to Victoria-Metro postcodes when the cart cost over $100 and the cart wight less than 10 kg. how do i achieve this?
]]>Was once working but now not for some reason. It’s telling me shipping is not calculated on checkout. I read through the forum and it seems like there’s quite a few reasons for it not working but I just can’t figure it out.
Hoping you could guide me as I’m having trouble figuring it out.
Thank you,
Installed, working, but this label text is showing on checkout page before shipping price: “Australia Post Shipping Parcel Post (Delivered in Temporary delays)”
How do I remove or change this, can’t find it anywhere admin side?
]]>I have had this plugin installed and working on my site for sometime. However now it has recently stopped working. It is still setup and turned on as a shipping option for both shipping zones. I haven’t changed anything on the shipping settings but it is no longer showing up on the cart/checkout page.
Any ideas why it would suddenly stop working?
]]>Hi,
Thank you for creating a useful plugin. It works for most of the transactions and requirements; however, we just have a major issue with how shipping is calculated for products that are beyond the weight and dimension limit for AU Post.
As of the moment, when you add a single product that is beyond the size and weight limit of AU Post, it produces the correct behavior of not showing any shipping methods for AU Post.
BUT, if you add another product that is within the weight and size limit alongside the oversize product, it still calculates shipping as if the oversized product did not exist in the cart. Which is wrong and we’ll need URGENT action on this.
You can test this behavior on our website for the product with SKU: C7ZZ-6510176-7.
I have checked your code and it looks like the limits are checked before the sending it to AU Post API, but the real issue it seems is skipping products that don’t pass the shipping limit.
If you check …\boxpacker\src\LayerPacker.php
on line: 88 to 91
//skip items that will never fit e.g. too heavy
if (!$this->checkNonDimensionalConstraints($itemToPack, $remainingWeightAllowed, $packedItemList)) {
continue;
}
Products that are too heavy on cart SHOULD NOT BE SKIPPED, rather would stop the cart from getting purchased. (Because you have a single shipping charge for the whole cart)
I believe this should be the behavior for all the sites using your plugin.
Thanks,
J Sevillejo
I have a product that is 2.72 kg and 186cm x 72cm x 72cm and it’s not showing any shipping options.

There are other too that don’t show any shipping even though I have specified the dimensions and weights.
This one works

Any ideas?
Thanks in advance
]]>This plugin is doing some really random stuff.

]]>Hi
I have set up an Express Post option using this plugin – but it only shows if the user is an admin and logged into the backend. How do I get it to show for all users please?
]]>Built for Woocomerce, but does not work well with Woofunnels.
I have the Labels PRO version – top subscription. I am using it with AustPost Business account, Woofunnels & Elementor Pro (the last two are fully integrated).
The signature on delivery, extra cover and seperate extra services features are not working for me on Woofunnels > checkout > your cart.
I have an issue where sometimes the signature on delivery options appears and disappears – or it doesn’t show at all. The few times it doesn’t disappear and stays on the page, if I choose the option, the cart cannot process the extra shipping cost and the page freezes. Extra cover is not showing at all. Also shipping is not being calculated in upsell page (I fixed that by building that cost into the upsell product price and only offering it in Australia).
It also keeps disconnecting from Austpost, it will work fine and then I start having a ‘No Shipping Options’ message showing in checkout page. In Austpost debug mode, it would say I was not authorised by Aust Post. I found that if I re-entered and verified my merchant code, re-enter my License Key, log-out in and out of my site -it would start working again. This has happened 3 times and I am concerned it will continue to happen once I share it with customers and that I will loose sales due to shipping not working.
I have also found the support from WPRuby seem to be non-existent so far. I have put in multiple support tickets and gotten no response. There’s no where to leave your email on the create ticket page. I’m still in the first 14 days, but I don’t think I can get a refund because the Terms of Uses states they take no responsibility with 3rd party plug-ins; I guess that includes WooFunnels. Wish I’d read that properly.
]]>Hi there, my client has setup a Shipping Class called ‘Dangerous Goods’ and applied this to products that should not allow shipping as an option. Instead local pickup would be the only option available.
How can I set the Australia Post WooCommerce Extension to exclude products with ‘Dangerous Goods’ shipping class applied?

]]>HI guys
I Set this site up and copied in detail the settings from her previous site and it was working then disappeared and won’t show up now. It simply says no shipping options so I went back to her original site to recheck everything and it’s a mirror copy. I even turned off the plugin on the original site. Is there something else she needs to do when going live with a new site?
I added the plugin and added the api gets to the cart page put in any address and it thinks and then does nothing – no message at all.
