Just a quick note, every Divi site that we had this plugin installed on broke earlier today. For some reason, the updated freemium version of the plugin destroys the ability for Divi to build columns. The columns become stacked within the Visual Builder and on the design.

I did a few tests and even did a fresh WordPress/Divi install and the Visual Builder and the designs still exploded.

Is there a shortcode for use with the author box?

This plugin was working flawlessly at one point. We have not changed any settings, and I have tried disabling all plugins that may have been in conflict with. Double checked all settings as well. Thanks!

I help with the development on a website that has it’s focus on blog posts. There are a lot of users that are authors and we use the plugin to show them at the end of each post.

The problems is the HTML tag that contains the image of the author sometimes show and sometimes not. We checked the users to have set the Photograph URL on the Author Box for Divi settings. Can you please help figure this out?

I would like the box to show on a single column of a row I created with Divi Builder, like this example generated with another plugin. I tried yours and I love it but it displays right below the content. Is it possible or only if I give up of the sidebar?

I would sooooo much like to change that horrible color on the SM icons but my css added in the DIVI css editor is over written by yours !important.

target=”_blank” is removed. Is it possible to add this to the link? I would like to open other websites in another window.

The author box only shows 2 social media accounts even though i entered 6

Is there a way to add the box (including social icons) to the author page so that it will show author info in a box then the blogs that author writes below it? We have multiple site authors so it would be good to have dynamic info populating their own page.

I love this divi author box, but I am getting the full name of the social media channel beside each icon. I notice that the screenshots don’t show this and it looks very clunky. How can I get rid of the names and just show the icons?

There is a tutorial for the Divi theme (https://divisoup.com/add-author-avatar-divi-blog/). I tried, it’s working, but there are a lot of bugs because it’s outdated.

Trying this plugin out and I noticed that the plugin ignores the default fields in the user profile — which makes sense. But the thing I am wondering, how would we include the website field into the author box.

It doesn’t make sense to create an additional field within Author Box since duplicating them might be confusing.

What do you think?
