We needed it only for its most basic features, and it works out-of-the-box

Tested this plugin with 4.0 and it works great. However, the plugin needs an update to add latest icons for google+ and other services. Also the CSS needs to be adjusted to add little space between social icons. It would be nice to have an option to choose avatar size inside the widget.
