This is only a minor bug. When selecting a user who has an ampersand in their display name (e.g. Jack & Jill), the field is populated with & amp; rather than &.

Hi I have installed this plugin and it works onWordpress 4, I have a custom post which uses the author meta box drop down and with 60,000 members it take forever to load the plugin.. I tried to speak to the developers of the plugin but they just dont come back to me, so I search and found this plugins…

How can I add this meta box to my custom post type..

How to get username insted of display name

The plugin works great. Without the plugin, the drop down menu shows only the authors nickname. When the plugin is activated, and I start typing the authors nickname, I see his user, email, and nickname. In my opinion this is too much information. I would rather see only the nickname as WordPress displays it.

Can you fix that or at least make it an option?

Hi! Great plugin so far!
I do have a question though. Is there a way to show a custom value in the search? I know it has username and email, but I have a custom field for all my users which i’d rather show. Is there a place we can add in the code to see the custom field?
