I really like this. But I can’t stand it that you have to mess with the theme code to use it.
Please include a shortcode to make things easier.
BTW, the widget does work but does not accept the format code.

just upgraded everything to present versions including WP 3.1. But now the Years for to and from seem to be exchanged. #from# yields 2011 and #to# 2010.

Nice plug-in! My plug-in is working, but it switched the “From” and “to” dates (displayed as “Copyright 2011-2010”). Not a big deal, I just switched the code around and now it displays fine.
My main problem is that it doesn’t display the little copyright symbol, just the missing character symbol. I’m using the Twenty-Ten WordPress theme, and I’m guessing the font just doesn’t recognize the character symbol.
I tried using the ascii html character code © but that broke the plug-in (it didn’t display anymore characters after the first parenthesis). Is there any way to get the plug-in code to recognise the ascii character code instead of the font symbol?
Thanks in advance for your help.
]]>I’ve just installed the Auto Copyright plugin and replaced the original copyright code with the code provided on the plugins FAQ page:
echo autocopyright(‘format=Copyright (?) #from# – #to#’);
I reloaded the main page and that code is displayed in the footer where I’d expected the copyright info to appear. Is this plugin simply not ready yet or is there a way to resolve?
Thanks in advance,
