please do so it don’t delete permanently, but moves posts to trash

My page is been spammed with alot of posts everyday, I want to use your plugin to auto delete the posts by default. Is is posible?

This plugin works great and I love it. However, is there a way you can have access to the auto delete date available under the “Quick Edit” function for posts? I should not have to open a post each time I note an error with the date or wish to change retention time.

Thanks for your plugin, it works quite well. I started using it and I noticed that I couldn’t restore posts after they were deleted.

Actually, when you delete the post, it goes to the trash, and when trying to restore the post, the post meta ‘auto_delete_post_time_key’ remains at the same value, causing the post to be immediately put back into the trash.

The solution that I found was to add the following line of code when deleting the post in your plugin:

delete_post_meta($unique_post_id, 'auto_delete_post_time_key');

I believe it could be a valuable feature to consider adding in future updates.

I downloaded your plugin to test it to possibly include it in a Plugin Roundup broadcast. However, when I activated it, all my posts were immediately moved to Trash. Further, I was unable to restore them until I deactivated the Auto Delete Post plugin. I just wanted to you know the issue I experienced.
