Hi there, the plugin is great and works well in theory, with a nice and simple UI and no useless things stuffed in it. Anyway, I am having an issue with 4.4 with bulk update because it’s always updating the same image (the first uploaded one). I am on Litespeed with LS cache, so I tried to disable Object Cache for wp-admin because sometimes it can be an issue, but it didn’t solve the issue. I had to roll back to version 4.2 which is processing more images, but still each image is processed twice…
Good morning, I have been using your plugin (both normal and Pro version) for several years and with good results. Unfortunately, since version 4.3 I have a big problem that has remained as it is in version 4.4 and is crippling.
Here is the problem. When I load an image (either via the Library > Media path ; or via the Article > Image Block path) the “Image Title”, “Image Alt Text”, “Image Caption”, and “Image description” are not changed correctly but your plugin renames all the newly loaded sections to me with the words “Standard layout file” (I hope I got the translation right, i use the italian version). The file uploaded to the site is all wrong: in both “Image Title”, “Image Alt Text”, “Image Caption”, and “Image description” the wording is the wrong one I mentioned above. In short, the auto-renaming of photos does not work correctly and in version 4.3 and 4.4 the plugin is unusable.
I also tried on a site with differences theme and disabling all plugins except the free version of “Auto Image Attributes From Filename With Bulk Updater”. No luck. The error remains and the image is not renamed correctly after uploading to the site.
By downgrading to version 4.2 on this test site as well, everything is working properly again. So it does not depend on the site theme nor on the other plugins (which, as mentioned, were disabled), but only on the base version of your plugin.
I hope you can fix this bug as soon as possible. I can send an explanation video if needed.

Hello,
We use this plugin to offload image to the cloud storage, specifically, to the Digitialocean Cloud storage at https://www.digitalocean.com/products/spaces
Here is the plugin of WP Offload Media Lite for Amazon S3, DigitalOcean Spaces, and Google Cloud Storage:
https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/amazon-s3-and-cloudfront/
In this case, all URLs of images in the posts will be lost after the images were processed by this plugin.
It might be quite danager for anyone might oversight, so it could be great if you can try to avoid such issue.
Thanks
Hello,
Please check the post at https://aiad.com.au/does-image-file-name-matter-for-seo/
The file name of images seems a quite key factor for image seo.
In this plugin, automatically renaming file name and updating file name for older image seems missing, and it would be even much better if it support by Wp-Cli command, so that we can bulk update mass image more efficiently(We have more that 100k images).
To be align with the Woocommerce product title, is it possible to support renaming file name of images to be product title with appended number? just like 11-inch-men-business-leisure-crossbody-chest-bag-39.jpg?
Thanks.

Hi Arun and thanks for the great plugin!
I’ve been using the plugin for years now and although the “alt” attribute is being automatically added to the images, I’ve just recently noticed that the “title” attribute is not being added in the tag, despite it being included in the Basic SEO settings option, which I selected.
Do you have any idea why this might be happening? I’ve included a link to a test page where you can check the image’s HTML attributes.
Thanks,
Filippo

For bulk updating, it would be great if it support an option of the oldest upload first or from latest.

Hello,
I tried to use %category%, %posttitle%, %tag% – %sitetitle% for description.
When I check the output, I noted there is space by default before Post title:
Women Fashion backpacks, 7.8-inch Genuine Leather Patchwork Women's Backpack, comfortable - mysite.com
I mean there are two space between “Women Fashion backpacks,” and “7.8-inch Genuine Leather Patchwork Women’s Backpack”.
Since we usually use %posttitle% for Title, Caption, Alt, that mean there will all be a space.
Any plan to correct it?
By the way, do you think the following setting is a good enough setting for Woocommerce product?
Or, do you recommend add any descriptive terms for Title, Alt, Caption like the following way?
%posttitle% in category of %category%
Any suggestion or online tutorial would be highly appreciated.
Thanks
Hello,
I am new to this plugin, and I read a lot at your official site.
I noted this plugin handle image Alt, caption, title, description, but only sanitize image file name, but not rename the image file name to attached post or product.
So, is image file also play key role in image SEO please?
Is it necessary to rename the image file name to some pattern according to the attached post or product?
Thanks

but when I update, it only update the title, the rest remains no changes.
I installed the “
Auto Image Attributes From Filename With Bulk Updater and also used the “Bulk Updater” and scanned all of my images.
I did this to resolve the following issue:
“Some images on your homepage have no?alt
?attribute.“
One example is:
<img alt=”” src=”https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/f2fcd04acdf22b2bba7dc67bceb4ca29?s=48&d=identicon&r=g” srcset=”https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/f2fcd04acdf22b2bba7dc67bceb4ca29?s=96&d=identicon&r=g 2x” class=”avatar avatar-48 photo” height=”48″ width=”48″ loading=”lazy” decoding=”async”>
My problem is after using the Bulk Updater on all of my images, the issue[s] are not resolved?
Is this because the Basic Version of the Plugin does not resolve this issue or might the cause be some other issue.
Could someone provide me with guidance on this matter?
Thank you
Hello,
Below are my settings. I’d like to only have the Alt Text filled, but instead the Title field is filled as well with the filename. I am using the Divi theme, and I suspect that it fills this field automatically.
Has anyone had this problem before? Is there a way to not have this title?
Thanks!
PS: If I understand correctly, I would need to buy the PRO version to have the first letter of the Alt Text capitalized?
Hello Team,
Thank you so much for this useful plugin.
Would it be possible to add a feature in this plugin through which the user can choose to prevent the alt.text update depending on how long the filename is.
For example the user can prevent the plugin from updating the at text if the filename is shorter than 10 characters.
This will make sure that irrelevant filenames are not converted into alt texts.
For example if the file name is something like img001.jpg then this will be ignored by the plugin and the alt text will not be updated.
Thanks so much for your time.
Kind Regards.
Hi,
I use Gutenberg for Edit Post.
All I want is when upload image to Gutenberg Editor, Image file name, Image Title will be change to Post Title.
Example: Add new Post by Gutenberg is: “Something New Post”
=> Upload a Image to Post
=> Image will be rename file name to: something-new-post – 1.jpg
=> Image will be rename title to: Some Thing New Post – 1
Does your plugin have it?
Thanks ??
