Is there any way to insert images automatically and control the order?
]]>I am not a computer literate and I know basics, but… I am really freaking out about this note. I can’t afford to loose all images from my blog. Is there anyone who can help me to install this?
Note: If you use the default image directory inside the plugin installation directory you images might get deleted when upgrading
]]>Hi there,
Although it is a nice plugin but when i am doing settings to this, it shows “Warning: Directory does not exist or path is incorrect.” in path and url tab. Please tell me what url path it needs and should every image’s name should start from api….., only then it will work?
Thanks!
]]>Hello.
I have installed this plugin
but can’t get it working
Here are my settings for the path and url:
Image directory: /home/accountname/public_html/wp-content/uploads/images
Thumbnail directory: /home/accountname/public_html/wp-content/uploads/images/thumbnails
Cache directory: /home/accountname/public_html/wp-content/uploads/images/apicache
This is the directory used by the plugin as cache location when generating thumbnails. Ensure that the plugin has write permissions for this folder.
Image directory URL: https://www.domainname.com/wp-content/uploads/images/
This the url to the directory where the images are stored.
Thumbnail directory URL: https://www.domainname.com/wp-content/uploads/images/thumbnails/
Can anyone see what I might have screwed up on here? All have 755 permissions set.
Thanks.
Hi!
I like this plugin very much and I am trying to figure it out how to make it perfect for me :). I need two little changes.
1) I show thumbnails in the posts and when clicking them it shows the full size image. I would like that when a thumbnail is clicked in the main page the link would lead to that post page. Only clicking on the thumbnail there would open the full size image. Clicking on the thumbnail on the main page -> single post page. Clicking on the thumbnail on the single post page -> full size image.
2) When clicking to see full size image, we see a loading message and then the image with a grey frame. That is great but if we could darken the remaining page screen it would be awesome. Everything black except the full size image.
Any hint on how can I do this? ??
Thanks.

Thx a lot
Hello,
would you implement the thumbs in the category pages?
I use the “Category ID” to attach images to a Post. Is it possible to use the “category-name” instead of the “Category ID”?
Thanks!

]]>I uploaded 475 files, and the thumbnails are being generated whenever I view a post, but when I try to regenerate all the thumbnails, I receive this message:
Report:
* Unknown Images
o api80.jpg
o api30.jpg
o api2357.jpg
o api745.jpg
and so on, 454 times.
What do you think is going on?
Thanks

]]>I tried this plugin but it does not seem to have a valid header which is a shame
]]>Hi. Thanks a lot for the plugin.
This way of uploading a bunch of images and automatically linking them to posts by slug names makes it easy to manage the posts – especially when using csv imports for the post contents.
However I still got a serious problem. How might it be possible to automatically set the uploaded image per post as “featured image” of the post in wordpress. Once that is done, many themes would work since they rely on the thumbnails of the featured images. Thank you so much for any help.
Until now I do not get the images shown wihtin the loop but only per post. This struggle should also be solved once the featured image per post is set.
The solution of that would defenitly be worth a donation.
Appreciating your work.
Thank you, henrik
1- Is it possible to make the thumbnail non clickable? I dont want a
link.
2- Is it possible to have the thumbnail on the left side instead of
right side? I want to align the thumb on the left side of my post.
Anybody or the Developer can help?

]]>Plugin version: 3.0.1
When activating this plugin I got a “This plugin does not have a valid header.”
This might only happen on certain server configurations. Some server set-ups are ‘picky’ about how the PHP tag is opened is my experience, and it will need a lowercase full opening to work properly.*
In auto-post-images.php in the plugin folder changing the uppercase PHP:
<?PHP
/*
Plugin Name: Auto Post Images (API)
to lowercase php:
<?php
/*
Plugin Name: Auto Post Images (API)
Fixes it.

Hi . Thanks for the plugin.
I have installed it successfully but I can not get it to work. It looks like I have some problems with the directory. I get this massage for the image directory -> Warning: Directory does not exist or path is incorrect. The path that I use is polskietargislubne-pl/wp-content/autoimage/ I have also tried /wp-content/autoimage/ but nothing works. Autoimage is the folder name I have created.
My website is: https://www.polskietargislubne.pl
Can you please help me with this…
