Page Structure sync to Menu rocks.
Works like a charm along with “CMS Tree Page View” – Plugin

Appreciate the dev to have developed something like this but it’s amazing how in 2023, wordpress cannot resolve URL like every other cms. Wow, just wow.

Simple solution for a simple problem. Works like a champ without apply any additional settings.

This work simple and perfect. for me as a beginner with wordpress
Thanks

An excellent tool, thank you!
Flaws:
1. Needs better explanation on how to implement – getting started might seem intuitive to some, others (like myself) have to figure out how to start a new menu’s “child” hierarchy correctly;
2. When adding new pages, MUST get it right first try; if you forget to make the new page a child (using “PARENT” drop-down), you cannot go back after and correct – the auto-add menu feature won’t see it; have to redo /clone the page and get it right this time;

With or without that other box ticked, and with Setting Parent correct, it doesn’t appear in the menu.

Sadly not working.
Let me know if its gonna be compatible with my version(4.4.2) !

Really handy plugin if it removed deleted child pages from the menu once the page no longer exists.
Works fine when adding new pages but this could create dead links in the wrong hands as old deleted child pages are not removed. If this feature was added then it would be very handy.

This works perfectly when correctly adding new child-pages, but if you forget to select parent page, this addon won’t help you when you edit the page and select parent after creating it.

Until then, this plugin fills the gap excellenty. Thank you.

Really simple and easy to use plugin, thanks to the developer for saving my time to code it myself. ??

Nice little plugin. Saves time with having to manually maintain menu hierarchies through the Appearance Menu settings in Admin.
Only works where the ‘Automatically add new top-level pages to this menu‘ option is set for a menu. I don’t normally use that option but with this plugin I can without hassle of immediately needing to sort the menu after a page is published.

great to decrease the site menu

A great little solution and works like a dream. Should be integral to any Word Press install.
A big thank you to the author!

using wordpress 3.9.2 does’t work at all…infact I’ve tried several of these plugins and none of them work.

If you try to use this plugin on an existing site that has a menu, it will appear to not work correctly at times, but after reading the description of this plugin a few times, it will start to make sense. Child pages will only populate for newly created pages. Child pages will also only populate if the immediate parent ( the one right above it) is already in the menu. So in the case that you have level 1 items and level 2 items created already, you will need to manually add level 1 and level 2 items for level 3 items to populate automatically. One thing that this plugin requires you to do is to check the ‘Automatically add new top-level pages to this menu’ option in the menu settings at the bottom. Given that this will add more pages to the top level, you may have a menu that only fits 6 items. In that case, you have to find a way to either include on the ones you want, delete them every time a new top level item is added, or create a separate menu. In the case that you have a dropdown menu you can just remove the ones as they get added, and if you don’t have a dropdown menu, then it’s best to create a separate menu.
I am rating this a 4 out of 5 because the plugin is not explained well and some things are not made immediately clear to users making it seem to ‘not work’ at times, even though it does do what it says.
