I consult, setup, secure and manage WordPress websites for a living. I discovered auto-thickbox many years ago and since it (more or less) accessed the existing thickbox scripts in WordPress it avoided unnecessary bloat!
Flat out though.. it works! I’m still perplexed why WordPress doesn’t integrate thickbox to make it automatically accessible for us. Till then there’s auto-thickbox!

Thank you. This was perfect. Just used the existing functionality in WordPress to create a gallery that links directly to the images. This plugin snags the photos into a lightbox automatically, didn’t have to do anything but install it.

Works fine and easy to handle (5 stars)
