Can this plugin auto close or disable comments on a particular post (or all posts) , at a specific time?
E.g to close/hide comment box on a post by 12pm (so users can still see the post but can’t comment after 12pm)
Can this plugin do this?
Thanks,
]]>I want to reopen comments on a post from last year. I have checked the “allow comments” box, but the post still displays the “comments are closed” notice.
Please advise how to correct this.
Thanks.
]]>1st I would like to say this is a great plugin!
I would like to know if you plan to make any updates? Just in case that the plugin becomes incompatible with the newer word press. If you are no longer making updates, I would like to know how much it would cost to have you update it if the need ever comes up?
Thank you again for your time.

Amazing how persistent comment spammers are. I turn off comments, they go after trackbacks. I turn off trackbacks, thanks to your plugin, and they now dig deeper to go for image attachments.
Is there a way to add turning off comments for media attachments?
]]>My Aspire theme has a problem with closing comments.
Here is an example page of where it goes wrong: https://calvinandcalvinism.com/?p=10562&cpage=1#comment-36651
The widgets and stuff are all bumped down to the bottom.
This happens wherever there are existent comments but where now comments have been “closed,” using the standard close comments controls in “Settings.”
Normally when I reset the setting in Settings->discussion-> “Automatically close comments on articles older than days” back to 0, the problem goes away.
I installed a plugin thinking it might have a fix. It didn’t. I deleted the plugin, thinking all would be restored. It’s not.
The plugin name is: Auto-Close Comments, Pingbacks and Trackbacks
Even with the above reset to 0, it now appears that all comments globally are closed which causes every page with existing comments to become skewed.
I don’t know how to reset it globally as the global reset is now not accomplishing this in the Settings-> Discussions page.
I am not a code reader/writer.
Any solutions would be appreciated.
If any of that does not make sense, please do let me know.
Thanks.
