It seems the required is workin. empty field is not allowing to submit. But the problem is it’s not displaying the error message as any other required filed shows.

I just hvae installed and configured the Google access key. I put the field in contact form. from frontend when I test right after one or two charecter it freezes and show ” ! ” all over.

How can we change “enter a location” to “enter address”

Was working – disabled plugin, enabled plugin, now it does not work anymore
API is still the same and everything is set…

Shows up as expected initially – text field with “Enter a location” placeholder. Then after a couple of seconds, placeholder changes to “Oops! Something went wrong.” and background is https://maps.gstatic.com/mapfiles/api-3/images/icon_error.png

I have set up an API key but unfortunately there were no detailed instructions on setting this up so not sure if this is the issue. Steps I took in setting up API key:
– in Google Cloud Platform, I created a project
– enabled Places API to it, and also Maps Javascript API
– created an API key
– added the domain to Domain verification

Is it possible to restrict the autocomplete results to a specific country? E.g. UK places only?

Something strange just started happening with my site. Very recently the placeholder in Contact form 7 has stopped working when using the autopopulate from google places api value is used. The form field is defaulting to ‘Enter a query’instead of ‘Enter Your Address’ as I have coded in the form. Any guidance is greatly appreciated.

Hi there, plugin works really good on contact form 7 but i would like to know the way to restrict places to an specific country.
when entering address/location Google Places display places and address from everywhere.
Im using plugin with locations from 1 country.

I connected the plugin to Google Places API, and I set the billing informations. Than it didn’t work. I didn’t get any error from console, when I type the city name, nothing appear up…

Am I doing wrong something?

When we use this gmautocomplete*, the location field is created but when we submit the CF7 form without entering any details then form submits and does not validate the required location field.
