I have tried both methods of authentication, but it doesnt authenticate.

I am able to authenticate using basic username and password on a Mautic 2.15.2 installation; however, I am NOT able to do the same on a Mautic 2.8.1 version.

Strangely enough, there’s a similar challenge using the API method.

I think the issue that you’re seeing repeatedly mentioned might be related to Mautic versions and how you’re authenticating. FYI — Many people have ‘paused’ at Mautic 2.8.1 because of various integrations being broken with the latest versions (Thrive Leads, etc).

I have connected with mautic by API (basic auth not working, not found method) but when i go to rules and want add to segment i have info “There appears to be an error with the configuration.It seems like Authentication is not done. Please Authenticate it first.” Seems like connection not working…

We have create some oauth2 key pairs.
In the redirect uri (mautic side) we have inserted (separated by comma):

On the automateplug authentication setup, into the wordpress admin, I have wrote:
https://auto.mysite.it (that is the url of the mautic setup)

On mautic I haven’t the basic auth, I have clean up several times the cache.

When I try to authenticate, The page shows the “trust” of the oauth2 application, I accept. After I return on the plug setup.

All seems works well, but is not true.
If I want show the segments in the rules I see an error: “there appear to be an error with the configuration”. And with “query monitor” (a plugin that check something on wordpress) I notice that there is two API CALLS that goes in forbidden: “401 unauthorized”.

I don’t find the configuration problem!

Hi, I am trying to link my mautic installation with the wordpress website.

The error is shown when I enter the URI and keys –

Can this plugins add trigers with certain user roles only to be added to an action.

For example:
I just want paid user roles to be added into mautic segment and not free user roles.

Or maybe sending user details with their roles into mautic when they register and I’ll divide them into different segments in mautic based on their roles.

I am trying to authenticate the plug in to my site. I’ve got the public and private keys added but when I go to authenticate, I get a 404 error code message back. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Did an install and set the base url in the Mautic api and plugin to the Mautic login page but get nothing but 403 page? Saw the docs but no help there.

i generated the public key and secret key and after press authenticate, it goes to a 404 page of my site

in base url, i put https://mywebsitedomain.com

anything i didnt wrong pls?

i already have SSL let’s encryp enabled.
deleted the cache folder as well.

After I have configured the authentication (oauth2) and all seems work correctly,

I have supposed to see all my wordpress contacts into the Mautic’s contacts.
Is correct?

I have made also a rule on the wordpress side that all the new registration pass in segments.

I don’t see any contact in mautic, what is my mistake?

Hi, I have used in 2 sites one with woocommerce (and makewebbetter woo mautic plugin) and one just wordpress (automateplug only) I seem to have problem connecting. In using oauth1 it wont work and with oauth2 only works on the woocommerce site. Both sites are on the same server with same configuration (php version etc). Any idea why?

Same as just about everybody else, segments do not load properly, clicking “refresh mautic data”, and/or clearing cache folder doesn’t do anything to help. I’m surprised by 2 things here: 1) You STILL haven’t addressed this issue properly yet (meaning your plugin simply doesn’t work), and 2) There still are not any decent Mautic plugins that actually work as advertised out of the box.

I just had the fresh Installed. I have also connected the Mautic with this using the API as mentioned in the Doc. Everything seems to be well configured.

Now I am looking for adding the my contacts (who register on WordPress) to Mautic. I tried adding the rule as below.

Trigger – User Register on WordPress
Action – Add to Segment

But when I click on Add to segment it show the error “THERE APPEARS TO BE AN ERROR WITH THE CONFIGURATION”. But i couldn’t find out what is wrong with confriguration

Can you let me know what i am doing wrong?

I would like to know if it would be possible to setup functionality of the plugin to push social registrations to Mautic too?

I have installed this plugin and configured it correctly (tested with my FB account and it registers on the website as expected):https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/super-socializer/

My desired data flow is as follows:

User registers using a social plugin with their FB account.
AutomatePlus then sends these details to Mautic.

I am sure that there would be some additional fields which could/would need to be catered for.

Please let me know if this makes sense. I’d love to get this working as soon as I can.

When creating a new rule, the Trigger Condition always resets to blank upon saving.

I even tried adding a bunch of conditions to see if even one would save. Nope. They all clear to nothing upon save.

This is WordPress 4.8.1 and since the plugin hasn’t been updated in a while, I’m assuming that’s what it is.

I have seen a few posts mentioning a ‘Refresh Mautic Data’ button, but I don’t have this button anywhere in the 3 tabs of the setting page that the plugin creates.

It also seems to be mentioned in the changelog but I can’t find it anywhere.

I have cleared the cache in Mautic so that doesn’t seem to be the issue.

How do I make the plugin fetch the segments list again?

I have already added the custom fields in Mautic.
Now is it possible use the functions in your plugin to update Mautic?

Hi,

When a user signs up to wordpress AutomatePlus adds them to mautic even if they do not click the activation link (account not activated/never logged in).

This is bad because:
a.) They did not click the activation link to confirm their account so adding them to mautic and emailing them without their confirmation could be considered spam.

b.) The emails sent by mautic will also distract them from the activation email and therefore they would likely not activate their account.

1.) Any plans on adding a new action that fixes the above issue so that they are only added to mautic if they have a confirmed WP account? E.g click the activation link OR for those that have the activation email disabled 1st time logging in?

When I add a rule or try to edit a rule it comes up with this error “Cannot load automate-mautic.”

However the rule works even though there was an error when I create the rule.

Do you know how I can fix this error?

I just created a fresh install of wordpress, to test most of things working with mautic on it.
Your plugin is very great, but I got some troubles when it comes to retrieve segments in the rules : I can’t !

Whatever I try to write in it, nothing works… Even if it’s correctly created on my Mautic account.

Could it be possible to allow us to force write something in it, if the Mautic retrieving of segments failed ?

It is the first one we’ve used with Mautic that has worked well out of the box.

That said, as we’ve updated or created segment names in Mautic (after the install of the plugin) the segment list in the plugin for creating rules does not appear to update.

Is there a set of steps that we can take to make the plugin re-read the segments from the API?
