I know that this is a simple plugin that works. But is it still supported with the latest WP versions?
Thanks for the confirmation.
Didier.
]]>Hello,
I just spotted this bug.
I use the shortcode [wpsos_year] in my theme footer like this:
?2018 – [wpsos_year] – …
I have a multi-language site so I use Polylang. My default language is English.
This excellent plugin is working very well on all pages, blogs, etc.
Except when I have a post that exists in both languages French and English. The shortcode only displays for my French post, not for my English post.
This means I see:
French version of the post: ?2018 – 2020 -…
English version of the post: ?2018 – [wpsos_year] –
When I have a post ONLY in one of the languages, it displays fine even for English. But when I have a post in BOTH languages, here I have a bug.
Is this plugin compatible with Polylang or WPML? Can you do a test on your side please?
Many thanks,
Didier.
]]>Kindly update this plugin as its not changing the copyright year. Still showing 2019.
]]>Could somebody please take a look at this plugin and bring it up to date? It seems to have been abandoned, but other plugins that do the same thing do not inherit styles well, so you have to do a ridiculous amount of styling (and know some html) to get a decent looking output. Surely it’s a worthy project, since outdated copyright messages are a blinking neon sign to hackers. Instead of reinventing the wheel, let’s just retread it…
