This plugin is trash. I reached out to the developer for assistance and crickets. There is a reason it has almost as many one star reviews as five star reviews. I purchased the $40 version of this plugin. Don’t make the mistake I made. If you insist on buying it, stick with the $10 version.
There are other plugins that are regularly updated that perform better, and have better reviews. Research.

The YouTube plugin by Ternstyle is certainly a great tool for anyone who posts frequently on YouTube and wants those videos to automatically appear as blog posts on their website. Though the plugin is wonderfully feature-rich, set up is simple. However it does include advanced options (including the almighty and widely sought-after “hide related videos” feature) for those who want to get fancy with their configuration. One installation I manage functioned perfectly literally for years before it stopped working!
That’s when I contacted support for the first time. After just a few Q & As, they were able to determine that the Google API needed adjusting. After a few quick changes, it was working again. GREAT support, quick and to the point! I was then able to import all the videos that hadn’t been posted and confirm that new ones are now being posted as expected.
One note. When you purchase this plugin, an account is created for you on their website. Because the plugin keeps working even if not renewed, it was a long time before I got to the point where I needed to do this (because I needed support and an update to the plugin). By then I had forgotten about the account, and how to access the license I had previously purchased somehow evaporated from my memory, so I purchased a new one. Don’t make that mistake! They will be kind in helping you resolve it, but to use the new license you must delete all the YouTube posts imported to your website up to that point and then reimport them all. For frequent posters who have had the plugin in action for a while that could be nearly catastrophic. Everything will roll more smoothly if you remember to log in to your account and renew the existing license.

I love this plugin. It does exactly what it is supposed to do! I love it. The plugin documentation is spot on and the support is wonderful. If want to be able to auto post YouTube videos for a channel or keyword to WordPress, you need this. Five stars!!!!!

There is one big issue annoying me!
The plugin also creates posts for videos that are private. If it would only create posts for videos that are public this plugin would be ideal for me. But this way it’s useless.

I tried the free version first, and it worked great.
Later I bought the paid version and installed it on all my blogs, and it works perfectly. Support is fast and emails detailed instructions you can follow step by step.

I highly suggest using this plugin if you’re a content creator. I have been using this plugin for over a year now and love it. I can setup a playlist or pick a channel to grab content and post as a blog so my site always stays relevant.

I bought the pro version of this plugin a few days ago. I should have read the reviews before. While it installed and was activated, it does not really work as expected. Videos are not fetched automatically. You have to do a manual import every time. I set a time interval of 3 hours between automatic imports, but it does not work at all.
Nothing is being imported automatically unless I do it manually.
Before purchase, on the website, it said that you would get 1 year forum support with the purchase. But after purchase, I see there is no longer any forum support.
i find this very dishonest.
I emailed the creators of the plugin but haven’t heard back from them. Not happy.

Here is why I support this plugin, IFTTT allows you to post YT videos into WordPress posts but descriptions don’t work and you don’t have the flexibility around filtering to channels, categories, playlists and more.
The developer I only contacted one time when I had a plugin question with PHP and it turned out to be my mistake, response time was after hours on a Monday and prompt again the next morning.
This is an ideal plugin if you want to literally automate building WordPress posts from YouTube vids and if you use the description of your video to be the post content it works well. You can limit the # of vids it imports so that you don’t exceed your hosting provider RAM limitations either.
I tested playlists, channel, and variety of options/settings and would say if you have a need to create a blog that creates full size dynamic rendering video’s or fixed sized video embeds, this plugin works well. I did notice if you are importing a large number of vids from a channel it seems to have oddity in video import order. Also I did notice it imported a private video when I set a Playlist but not when I did a channel, so not sure if that was a glitch (I shouldn’t have had a private video set to a playlist but did).

For a product that costs $10, you’d think it would work fine with shared hosting sites, which most people with $10 to spend are using. The plugin hangs often and gets unresponsive, even with only 4 playlists. The developer although pretty responsive to emails, is rude when he answers them. He was very insulting and seemed annoyed when I asked for support on something I PAID for. Customer support gets ZERO stars. The plugin as it is gets about 2.5 stars. It’s supposed to save you time but I’ve spent hours trying to get it to work. It would have probably been faster to import the youtube videos manually. You get what you pay for. Avoid this plugin unless you have a dedicated server and a ton of patience.
