Good one, I like this plugin

Only shows the shortcode on the page.
Error handling is hopeless.
When forgetting to set a thumbnail, the pages shows:
“Array ( [dirname] => /ya/dee.ya.da/duh/barf/uploads/2016/07 [basename] => 009_Landscape_001_small.jpg [extension] => jpg [filename] => 009_Landscape_001_small )
Why not use wordpress′ hooks functions to read the thumbnail.
It all seems a bit amateuristic.

Hello everyone . Its working good in start.. I add the images also to each category . When you click on next tab plugin stop working.. any one can solve this problem??

It does what it needs to do and the sorting is especially awesome to have. Say goodbye to drop-down boxes for choosing sorting categories and hello to fast, same-page, animated sorting!

I just tested this plugin for a whole day. Please do not use it.
This plugin has multiple issues.
First: the filter plugin overrides the original classes, so the animations on hover do not work nor the picture preview (there are already multiple threads on the support page).
Second: The filter plugin sets a static width to the container. So if you resize the page after filtering, the responsive design is broken.
Third: the floats in my example were totally out of order, so I had to set it up as inline-blocks, so it would look good
fourth: when clicking repeatedly on the All- filter button, the items move a little bit upwards and downwards, which is even visible in the tutorial video and destroys the professional feeling.
Also a main feature is missing: You can only create one portfolio.
Please do not use this plugin.

It was only half working to start with and I was getting 404 pages when clicking on ‘Add New’, the ‘Edit’ links and the image uploader wasn’t showing.
After a bit of head scratching I realised its because I’ve got my install in a subdirectory.
All I had to do was change the instances of bloginfo(‘url’) to bloginfo(‘wpurl’) and same for get_bloginfo to tell it to look in my sub directory as listed in the settings>general ‘WordPress Address’, not the url of the site ‘Site Address’.
Its working a dream now and looks great. Thanks!
Also a valuable lesson learnt lol.

Worse plugin i ever see! it was nearly broken my site. Too many HTML error, lightbox functionality broken.
Just BEWARE about this plugin before use it.
Also author blame theme developer, but theme was 100% perfect.

When ever I want to upload an image it does not save the tumbnail state. I get the fullsize image in my portfolio.
Also I would like an option to choose where you can put the discription and add custom fields.
Im working on a design for a company that does projects (events) They would like to have a custom field where they can put in the number of visitors an event has had that they organized.

Hi,
I like this plugin. This is very simple and nice gallery portfolio plugin. It works nice on showing all images but when you click on category link. its image effects and pop-box stop working.
This plugin will be awesome if you fix this issue.
Thanks and kind regards

After trying several portfolio plugins which either conflicted with another essential plugin, or just lacked some important functionality, I found this plugin. It works flawlessly except for one small problem, which can be explained here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/jquery-breaking-after-filtering?replies=6#post-5266602. Hopefully there’s a fix coming soon for this issue, but other than that it works and looks great, and is easy to configure and implement.

We always have to applaud the efforts of developers, but this plugin is not quite ready for deployment, though it’s close. Here’s why:
1. The plugin generates an error upon activation: ‘The plugin generated 566 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.’
2. The code wraps everything in a pre instead of a div, so a long list of categories goes off the page to the right. Chrome’s dev tool showed how it all wraps nicely to the container if pre is changed to div.
3. Only one category can be assigned to each portfolio item. Many times a project fits into more than one category.
Finally, and this is not a criticism, it’s useful to clarify what type of portfolio this plugin produces. It is an image portfolio because it is limited to images (with a bit of data about the image). Clicking on a portfolio item displays a larger image, but it doesn’t display a separate portfolio item page with more images, a gallery, video, more detailed description, etc. The plugin could be modified so that “Project Link” says something like “Project Details”, then link to a separate page on which you would have the project link and everything else.
