How to make badges to be visible on profiles?
So imagine this, a user reaches 100pts, he gets a new badge. He reaches 200pts, he gets a new badge. So now he has 2 badges. That’s how it works now.
But I would like to have it where the user reaches 200pts, it replaces the previous badge with a new one. So users can only have 1 badge. It’s like a ranking. Imagine:
-Beginner
-Intermediate
-Professional
-Expert
I don’t want a user to have all of those, just one of them. Thanks for reading.
Hello. I’m currently using the follow custom html:

How can I add to the code to make this icon link to a url {permalink} when clicked on?
Thanx!
Hello.
I would like to use your plugin on a BBPress Forum website.
The following are the ways I wish to use your plugin and I would like to know if it’s possible.
1 – I want to mainly reward individuals/users based on their intelligent contributions (Replies/Comments) in discussions (in a Thread). The awarded points are comment/reply specific and may not be automatically done but manually awarded, I guess.
2 – I also would love to have the awarded points show up somewhere on the comment/reply that is receiving the points. This points and comments will be simultaneously linked to the individual who replied/commented and this, will be added to the total earned by that individual.
The point for the specific reply/comment, may perhaps appear at the bottom right of the comment/reply in the Thread.
3 – I also want to know the possibility of having the aggregates of all awarded points (from replies) show up at the top/bottom of a thread. So if A, B, and C are manually awarded 20, 30 and 40 points respectively for all their comments in a Thread started by D, the Total points generated from that Thread would be 90, which can be displayed at the top/bottom of the Thread.
4 – Can Users after accumulating x number of points be automatically promoted to a role that allows him/her to also award/deduct points to/from other users? This role obviously will not be the same level as Administrator.
Thank you and look forward to your reply.

Hi,
great plugin … but somehow I cannot get to show the points an admin assigns to a user. I can see assigned badges, though – but no points.
For a screesnshot of what I mean, please check
I have a WordPress network set up with BuddyPress. I installed the plugin from the admin area and activated it on the main site. The only tab I saw was “getting started”. I figured it needed to be network activated so I went back to network admin and network activated it. I saw a message saying I do not have permission to see this page. As the account I was using is the super admin I should have the rights needed.
Any ideas?
As an admin I submit a number of articles and my point count is too large. How can I exclude my user profile from getting points?
I recently installed this plugin. I’ve created an “Admin” badge I’d like to assign to the handful of admins of our BuddyPress site. I’d like the “Admin” page to be overlaid on top of the BuddyPress Avatar or near the BuddyPress Avatar/Username globally across the site. Can this be done?
Thanks!
Hi there,
I created some badges and was wondering if there is any way to sort the badges always in the same order?
For eample istead of:
Regardless on how many badges the user have, I want the badges to always appear in ascending order:
Right know the badges are sorted based on user assignments so like in example 1.
Is there any way to sort them in ascending order?
Thanks and best regards,
Olivier

Hi Daniel,
I a have an issue with the plugin. I tried to insert the shortcodes. The leaderboard table and badge table display fine, but I am having an issue with the shortcode for points. It displays No points. I have set up the condition to allot 10 points to a user who uploads a file. I like the plugin.
Please help.
How do I assign points on public views (traffic) on a post?
1.
Currently, all new topics + responses are counted together
I want to for ‘New Topic’ – was one badge and counted separately
and ‘New answers’ – separate badge counted separately
Then it will all make sense
PS. Add after driving over a specific badge to display the number of points
2.
Add new ‘Helped’ (vote for the best answer in the thread – like Q&A other plugins)
and a new badge + scores separately
3.
PS. Problem
I currently have a users profile the number of: posts + answers
How to sum up them and move as a score for this plugin (for installing it all you have 0 points)
4.
Add Export all users + points > then > Import all user + (modyfy points in Excel) ??
Hi there,
I see there is a place to add CSS for the Leaderboard, but I’m not sure what CSS tags to use. I want to change the look, such as making the avatar much smaller, and having the avatar be a circle instead of a square.
I apologize for my ignorance, I’m not sure where to find the CSS tags so I know what to call out when I edit. Thank you!
I tested this plugin (so cool!), and gave points to myself by meeting a condition. But my Leaderboard only shows me. Is there a way for the Leaderboard to show ALL members, regardless of whether they have points or not? (Even show members who have zero points)
I want to be able to use the leaderboard shortcode, but I have thousands of members, and the shortcode displays ALL of them. How can I only display, say, the top 10?
Also, can I change the pixel width of the leaderboard within the shortcode?
Current use of the shortcode: [broo_leaderboard show_filters=”false” show_avatar=”false”]

Is it possible to run two leaderboards on different pages or the same page. Ex: We have a contest for points for Captains, and another contest for Anglers. Or a way to set up another column one for Captain and another for Angler?
Hi,
is there way to display badges on user profile but his badges, not mine (logged user)? For example:
my user is “nik” and my friend username is “peter”. When I am logged in (nik) and I open peter’s profile page I see my points. I want to se peter’s points. Ok, I can put username in shortcode, but I have 20+ users and only one “User profile”, so I need unique shortcode to play in “User profile” page and sow badges for that user.
This is how profile page works: url is /profile/ and if I visit that page, it will show my profile. But, if I open /profile/peter/ I will see peter’s profile details. But, if peter visit /profile/ page, he will see his profile. Every user have /username url.
Greetings,
I have an issue with the leaderboard.
A user deleted his account but it still shows his ranking in the leaderboard. Instead of a name, there is blank but the ranking, points and amount of badges are still there.
I tried removing the short code from the page, updating, and then replacing: didn’t work.
I used WP DB Cleaner to clean up the database and had user lists regenerated. The site performs a daily cron job and I cleared the user cache. I checked the database manually in PHPMyAdmin but could discover anything wrong nor traces of that specific user.
Any clue how to solve this?
Thanks a lot,
Gigi
Good day

I really appreciate the plugin. Much easier to set up that any thing else out there. I am just getting it all integrated with my niche network. However one issue when points are awarded they are showing in the activity stream but accumulated point not showing on profile. Running WP 4.53 and BP 2.62 anyway is appreciated.
Is there a function that i can add to notify my Buddypress user that a new badge has been assigned to him ?
This is a problem that appeared after updating Buddypress and Badgearoo. I have set a condition to assign 1 point when an activity is posted (Example profile: https://www.writinggroove.com/members/dreamers-cove/activity/ ). However, no points are assigned by the system and no point awarded appears in the activity stream if the page is refreshed.
However, other conditions are working. I have one to award a point when a comment is made on an activity (this works). Or updating a profile (also works). I haven’t tried other steps to create conditions, but right now the posting an activity one is not working.
https://www.writinggroove.com/members/dreamers-cove/
The user in the link above should have 3 points. The Admin side of Badgearoo shows they have been assigned. The activity stream shows they have been earned. Yes, in the profile it still says “No badges. No points.”
Is this an issue with the new version of WordPress or Buddypress? (just upgraded both) Badgearoo is also the most current version.
Hello again,
I love this plugin! I wanted to give a suggestion that would improve the way that I use your plugin for a future release:
I have the plugin set to show the badge icons alone, but I wish there was a way to enable the badge title when a cursor is hovered over it.
Thank you!
I would like to have the badge display without the Title next to it, how can this be done? Better yet, is there a way to have the title show up upon hover? Thank you!
I am getting an error upon manually assigning badges, however, the badges still show up. If you re-try then two badges show up. Either way I keep getting the error. Thanx ??
