I am trying to find a chat plugin that will work only inside of the dashboard for quick admin chats and doesn’t slow down the blog too much. Would Banckle work for me?

LOVE this plugin!!!! And the support is just as awesome. If you have a problem, just use their live support. They are very available and will walk you through any issues until it gets resolved. Any issues I had, we quickly resolved as they were user (mine) error. I’ll be recommending it for all my clients. Definitely a value add for many/most businesses.

I just recently decided to update plugin and also wordpress and the plugin stopped working properly. When a customer tries to visit the site I can hear the sound but under “visitors monitoring” there are no visitors listed. The same issue arises when the customer attempts to chat.

I also tested myself locally and get the same results. I have to log out and then log back in in order to see a visitor. Even after I do that it will not list any new visitors on the site.

The settings do not seem to stick. Before I was able to edit my offline and online messages via the plugin, but now they do not seem to save. I get blank screen every time I go to customize the plugin.

Is there a way to get the older version of plugin to see if that corrects my problems?

I tried to get this to work but its broken.
“The Deployment has been deleted, cannot send the invitation.
Don’t waste your time with this till they get it fixed.
Not easy to use either, you change a setting and it doesn’t take..

After half an hour working through the complex instructions, several times, I completely failed to activate this plugin. So gave up (better things to do!). Designers should work on making wp install much easier and clearer – the process is, well, weird to me at any rate.

Telling people the plugin is free to have them waste their time installing it then only to be told we have to sign up and it’s free only for 30 days is being deceptive. Do yourself a favor and mention the fact that it’s only a free trial on the download page so know what we need to know before deciding to install in on our site. For this deed, you will be the last solution I check out when I am in need of this solution.

I installed Banckle today and had it up and running in no time. I contacted customer support once to have them explain something about deployment. They were absolutely incredible, and helped confirm that this plugin is positively what I need for my business.

I think this one is the best wordpress live chat plugin that is available. It can be fully customized and it’s free without monthly subscription or something like that… Just a great work! Thanks a lot to the developers of this plugin!

When selecting the dashboard page, I only get a Page not found.
Incompatible with WP 321?

I’ve tried it earlier on the same version, and it worked. All other plugins tried out since then are removed, so this might not be stable. Or it could be some server problem at Banckles – since the dashboard page is actually a banckle page embedded in the WP dashboard.

The description on the WP page for this plugin is totally misleading. The plugin file may be free, but the service costs $6 per agent per month as of this writing. Also, the supposed “1 year free” trial causes the following error when you try to sign up for an account: “Oops, Invoke payment API exception ,null”.

Overall, it feels like a bait-and-switch. I do not recommend to anyone.

When I add a custom chat button, it gets automatically resized to the same size as the default chat button. Is there any way to change the size? Ideally, I’d love to use the same chat button “Online – Start Chat Now” that’s displayed on the Banckle.com website.
