Hi, nice plugin. I install and configure it…
But i need to the basepress have the default header of my theme.
I want to have container (header with title and some content) before “bpress-wrap” div.
If i press “Skip loading of header and footer” it broken the css:
see it: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1R2fBoNOKBvwJ-SSkKjX2Kk69opjVQwZg/view?usp=sharing
How can i have the bpress working well, like internal pages:
I need to put some text before the list of articles.
for this page: https://abrir.link/KZgLN
i need to have same layout of this:
https://abrir.link/pXvBx
with header. and if is possible add text before search bpress bar.
Thanks!
Great knowledge base plugin!
I would like to see if it’s possible to have no column on the homepage, but keep the columns on the article pages. In other words, I would to just show the categories and article lists on the knoweldgebase home, but then on the article pages, I can show the side column with Related Articles, etc.
Perhaps this can be a setting in the backend. Or maybe add a unique class that only appears on the homepage, then I can use CSS to hide the sidebar and expand the content.
thanks!
]]>We want only logged-in members to have access to the knowledge base. If we now protect the page with the Simple WP Membership plugin, this works for all post pages but not for the main page (knowledge base page), which you select in the settings. Did you already have this problem? Can you help me? The content is therefore still displayed…
Thanks Christian
This plugin is great, but I named my knowledge base “Asylum Support Services”, and it shows as “Knowledge Base”. Any idea why? It shows the description correctly that I gave it, though.
The site is in development so is password protected, which is why I didn’t provide a link.

When I view the icons under BasePress > Icons Manager, no icons display.
I am wondering if it is perhaps because the current BasePress version has not been tested yet with the latest WordPress version at this time?

Example: If I click into a section, all sections would automatically be open for all pages.
2nd Inquiry is, is there a way to make the accordion be sticky & always remain through the scroll?

]]>Hi,
thanks for the great plugin!
What is the recommended procedure for transferring all knowledge base entries to another website? As the plugin does not have its own export mode, I tested the WordPress internal export function. This works in the sense that the entries are transferred. However, the sections are created as knowledge bases on the new page and the entries are assigned to them. As a result, I have to create all sections again and assign the articles to them. Is there a better way?

]]>Dear,
I wanted to extend my gratitude for providing Basepress, which has been immensely helpful for my website. I’ve been thoroughly impressed with its functionality and ease of use.
I have a query regarding the display of recent posts from Basepress on our homepage footer. Currently, I am using the traditional Widget.
I would greatly appreciate it if you could offer any guidance or suggestions on how to achieve this. Your support would be invaluable to us.

]]>Hi,
Having Issue when editing either a section or a KB. Every time I click the view more link when editing section/kb it redirect me to the kb/section main page. How do I fix this issue?
Is it possible to make a shortcode to my KB with some filters and add it to any page?
For example, I found on the plugin’s website an article about shortcodes. It mentions Shortcode Editor and offers a shortode like this:
[basepress product=”basepress” orderby=”custom” order=”ASC” count=”5″]
However, I can’t find Shortcode Editor in the settings and the code above does not work for me (i changed the KB name to mine ofc). So, I’m confused. Is it Pro-only feature or was it removed? Or I’m doing smth wrong?

]]>I want to hide the breadcrumbs on only the KB page set under Settings > General > KB page.
I have the KB page set to my home page and tried this by using the page’s ID in custom CSS:
.page-id-7794 .bpress-crumbs {
visibility: hidden;
}
The home page / KB page page’s ID is 7794 but it is not hiding the breadcrumbs from the theme.
If I remove the page id part and do this it actually hides the breadcrumbs on all pages:
.bpress-crumbs {
visibility: hidden;
}
Any idea anyone? Thank you.
