This is a great plugin, if you need to import a lot of categories and sub-categories, don’t waste your time with the others and just get this. You just copy the list into the plugin section with this syntax:
“category name”->”subcategory name”$”subcategory slug” (remove the “) and you’re good to go! Great plugin!

Great Plugin indeed!
The only thing missing is lack of non-Latin languages when exporting/importing content/categories.

Can you add support of non-ANSI charset, such as eastern european, cyrillic, etc.?

I love this plugin: it’s tiny, it works and it does exactly what it should. Not only that, but the import file layout is really easy to set up and read. It’s saved me TONS of time, as I keep simple text files of sites where I have a lot of categories: anything goes wrong, just pop the list back in!
