This Plugin is not supported since years and does not work any more.
I found this other plugin that has the functions I needed which did work: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/multiple-post-passwords/

I am using the latest wp (4.5.2) and this plugin still be my best friend.
Yes, I met some problems before, but with some modifications, the problem has gone.
Just go to the plugin’s forum and find your solution.
I just sad some people gave one star for this plugin. Please read carefully the installation guide before give the bad rating.

Pretty simple. Does exactly what I need. The ability to add multiple passwords to existing wordpress password protected option, allowing me to give different people different passwords. thank you.
That was yesterday. Today it has stopped working. Can’t figure out why. I did install another plugin called “smart password pages” to design the login look. Maybe there is a conflict? I will edit post if I find solution.

Works in Google Chrome but not in Safari. I hope you can get it updated.

I’d love to try this plugin, however, I do need to be sure that it’ll work with version 4.1.
Anyone know?

Great Plugin when it used to work. Support is not very helpful.

It’s already one year old without any updates, the field to capture the passwords goes out of the “Publish” box but all that being said it works perfectly.
I like Mahalo Marlin’s idea to have a counter and I would add a free text field for each password to add a description or hint as to who I gave that password to.
Thanks Julio !

If we could modify its behavior like we can create child themes, I’d give it five stars. (I’d like to log how many times each password is used. But, for most users, that customization would be irrelevant.)

You guys get it. This plugin is perfect. Very empowering

Requires a password to be entered on the single password line before it will protect. Even then however, it will not recognize the any of the multiple passwords listed for that page.
It also stops the use of a single password to protect an individuals personal page.
Wish the developer would fix this. I’m happy to make a contribution but only if it works.

Works on latest version of WP (3.9) Developer should update their compatibility version.

Very good plugin. Works without a problem so far on WP 3.8.1

Plug in worked great, then out of nowhere it didn’t. I’d store passwords exactly as instructed, click OK, and they’d stick. Cliked Update, and they disappeared. No new code, plugins, etc., since installing so that negates conflicts, because it worked without a hitch for a while.
No response to support question after a week.
“Never give a customer a reason, or the time, to go somewhere else.”
In this case, the developer did both.

tried adding additional passwords and it would not accept them.

I need to protect only a few articles, but I want each of my +600 users to use a single password taken from a DB member list. Easy copy/paste from my Excel list.

Very useful .. thanks
i agree with [amadeuspzs] please remove {“Protected: ” text added onto post titles}

There are few plugins with the simplicity of this one, and it works great.
A “feature” I found is that using the same password on different posts means the password only needs to be entered once.
One thing I didn’t like was the “Protected: ” text added onto post titles, and the apparent removal of the posts from the search (leave the titles in?).
Good work!
