I spent the day trying to find a solution and just got it through this great plugin.

If you have open bbPress forums and need email notifications, this plugin is a lifesaver. bbPress should have this functionality built-in, but because it does not, use this plugin. All it does is adds a “subscribe” button for guest posters in your forums. It works great.

This plugin is exactly what we need for our website. Stefano helped me out by checking the settings as I couldn’t figure out what kept it from sending the notifications. Now the plugin works as a charm and we are very happy with it. Thank you very much Stefano!
