hello, is this plugin still working and works with WordPress 6.2 and no risk for security breaches?
Thank you
]]>I could notice a strong slow down of the forum when this plugin is active.
How can I solve this problem?
This like should be loaded on ‘init’ or ‘plugin_loaded’
https://plugins.trac.www.ads-software.com/browser/bbpress-new-topics/trunk/bbpress-new-topics.php#L56
This wil fix this issue:
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/language-file-name-1/
I am willing to help if you give me commit access. If this plugin will be updated , it can also be translated via the GlotPress / Polyglot project.

]]>Hello,
I’m trying to figure out how to create a “mark all read” function because my forum starts to be really active.
Do someone already done that function and can help ?
Thanks!
]]>Great plugin!
I’ve noticed, even when logged in as standard user, there are sometimes multiple “new topic” labels (I’ve seen up to 9). I see this on the main view of forum.
Is there a method to have label only display once on main forum view, so it’s not so cluttered/crowded looking?
]]>Hi,
Thanks for this plugin! Works really great.
But one thing I found today is that if there is a new post / reply in a sub forum there is no “New” icon in the main Forum View.
Can this be added?
Thanks!

]]>Hi, what would be the language file name?
I created a .po and .mo file from the new-topics.pot
If I use the names
new-topics-tr_TR.mo
new-topics-tr_TR.po
it does not work.
]]>Hello,
First of all great plugin. Also thank you for the update!
I’ve been trying to figure out how to only show “new” where the status is published. I figured out how to check for a published status, but if the post isn’t approved before a user visits the page bbp_template_before_single_topic() will remove the topic id from the topics array.
Could you provide any suggestions?
Thanks ??
SD
]]>Does anyone know how to wrap an a/href link around the “.new-topic-notifier” div to make the label extra useful?
I want the “New” label to act as a button that links to the oldest unread post since the user’s last visit.
So for example, if I created a new thread, left the website, and then returned to the forum index at a later point after 10 replies had been made to my thread, the “New” label would link to the #anchor location of the first reply to the thread.
Thanks!
Tim
Can I apply the label “New” on forums with topics with new replies?
Or how I edit the code to include this kind of functionality?
Hi, and thanks for the plugin. It seems that when a user joins a group forum, only topics and replies that are posted after the date of when the user joined get marked as “New.” The behavior I would expect would be that if a user joins a forum and there are already 10 topics there, those 10 topics would be marked as “New” for that user. Any way to change this?

]]>Hi c.bavotan,
I found some additional code from Thaddeus Aid on your site
https://bavotasan.com/2014/bbpress-new-topics-plugin/
The code shows new Threads and Replies for logged in users, too.
Would be great if you can add it to your plugin.
Here is the code:

Thanks
