only two caveats:
1. would be nice if the symbol “!” It could be changed
2. it would be nice if the title of the forum became bold if unread

This is great, with this plug-in it is like phpBB but betterer.

Seriously this is good, it works too for child forums unlike bbPencil (sic.)
Now if I can just make one change I smell a donation coming on!

This plugin is really quite good. It displays a small image next to unread topics in forums.

Although, I choose to go with the “bbPress Pencil Unread” plugin instead. I prefer the line next to the post over the icon. I think its more minimalist and smooth.

Great plugin – Does exactly what its supposed to. The behaviour is similar to a phpBB3 bulletin board when displaying unread posts within a forum or topic. Just what I was looking for.

Moved from phpBB to bbpress and was missing this kind of indicator.
Now the feature is back. Really great.

But please add a “Mark all as read” option. My converted forum has nearly 25,000 entries. I can not mark each one manually.

This is such a great, clean plugin! Works really well! If you need a “new post” plugin for bbPress, this is it.

Might suggest a “mark all as read” option in the future, though! If you add this to an already existing forum, you have to manually shift through every singly topic in order to get rid of the “new post” icon.
