Looking for help with the making shortcodes not appear in the widget.

When I add a shortcode (from other plugins) into the top of a post, they appear in the sidebar widget of this recent post widget. Have a look at sidebar on our transcription blog and you’ll see the shorcodes appear in [].
How do I make the shortcodes work on this widget?

The thumbnails have the current page as hyperlink and not the corresponding hyperlink of the posts.
Please update.

I like your widget but want to change the blue color on the active tab to match my orange colors on my website. I open the .css file in the plugin editor, and I am able to locate the color cor #….. (I forget what it is), and I have confirmed that code is for the blue color you use. I change it to an orange color code, and then save. But no changes occur in the color. Am I missing something really basic maybe?

Also I want to know if there is a way to put a rounded border around the widget?

Hi, I have just migrated my site to a new server and now the thumbnails on the bdwebteam recent post tabs widget is not displaying anymore. It displayed on my previous website.
