BRC only lists compatibility up to 6.5.5. Do you have an estimate for how long it will be until an update is issued that is compatible with the latest WP?

I’ve tried a few changes on my end including changes to CloudFlare configuration. I am using the latest version of the plugin and WordPress.

]]>Did you know that when you want to change the plugins ‘tested to’ value for a new WP version, you don’t need to release a new version of the plugin. Just change the value in the readme.txt in your WP repository.
That will prevent unneeded plugin updates.

Hi,
I have a widget in a sidebar. I’ve recently came accros a problem, that some of the comments appears to be clickable (with ling to the actual comment) and some not. I have found out, that the problem of missing link can be with the comments from users, which has a website in their user information. I have also tried to deactivate all other plugins, but it seems not to solve the problem.
Don’t you have any idea, what to do with that and have them all clickable?

I manage a blog with a very active discussion area (for the amount of traffic). Comment count each day get up to 200. Our current comment count is over 350,000.
I have been noticing some slowdowns of the site over the last 1-2 months. In an effort to determine the cause, I installed the WP Query Monitor plugin. It showed that this plugin is doing what appears to be duplicate queries on post pages (that show comments).
Perhaps it would be more efficient if the plugin could use the ‘core’ comment query results for it’s use. This would seem to result in a more efficient use of server resources when comments and comment widgets are used on a page.

I’ve been using your plugin for a long time for my client’s website.
Everything was ok until now :
– the most recent comment (06/01/2021) doesn’t appear in the comments area at the bottom of the home page : https://www.appart-business.com/
– when accessing the “Commentaires” page, it indicates : “No recent comments available” : https://www.appart-business.com/commentaires/
Just to let you know, the comments are available at the bottom in the property page they’re referring to : https://www.appart-business.com/properties/rue-edel-em5/

I was previously using an old plugin (Get recent comments) which is no more working or supported with WP 5.7.
I miss one feature from it, which was the option to “Exclude comments by blog authors (your own comments)”, which was really useful IMO : I don’t need to display my own replies to comments on my blog. This is the idea.
So is there a way to achieve this ? or would it be possible to add that option ?

on my site users authorized through social networks leave comments, the avatar is taken from social networks.
the latest comments widget is located via a shortcode in the footer.
the problem lies in the avatars of anonymous users. Photos of the last comments of anonymous users are taken from authorized users. it happens on the single page.
What is it problem?

Thanks for creating enabling a useful function in displaying comments.
One factor that I wasn’t sure how to enable was for the following scenario:
System is enabled so users can comment via the usual wordpress function.We’ve enabled your better comments plugin and inserted by shortcode comments into the content of a page/post.
The problem now is that comments are showing twice.
They display in the conetent where we placed the shortcode.This is expected and what we want.
However, default comments also display in the bottom of the page.
What is the best way to remove the duplicate display i.e. the default comments display at the bottom of the post/page?
