I have tried logging this via the typical support channel and have not gotten a response.
I am running Rank Math SEO, but that doesn’t seem to be the problem. If I delete robots.txt, save settings in the plugin nothing gets created, and Google then says it can’t reach robots.txt, and I get a 404 error trying to open it.

I received notification from Google Search Console alerting me that ‘robots.txt’ is blocking the following urls:

It also says the following urls are marked ‘noindex’:

My host says there is nothing in my robots.txt file and I haven’t configured anything in betterrobots.txt, so I’m not sure what this is about. I am wondering if this is something to do with yoast premium which I recently stopped using. If it is, these would be settings I put place ages ago, so I don’t know why Google Search Console would be alerting me about this now.
These probably are pages I would think might not need to be indexed but I don’t know if it matters either way.
Can anyone offer any advice ?

I deactivate and delete the plugin and the fatal error comes. How can i solve this issue and recover my websote.

]]>Don’t know how often bots are reading robots.txt, but a virtual robots.txt has to be generated by WP each time it’s hit. Does the virtual generation play nice with any existing caching plugins so that it can be served statically unless flushed, preventing WP from having to load every time this endpoint gets hit?

]]>Every plugin related page on my site contains a “better robots.txt pro upgrade” and “please give better robots.txt a fie star review” text boxes. These appear even on configuration pages for plugins not related to better robots.txt. I keep clicking on the crosses and they disappear only to reappear next time I open a plugin-related page. This is not only very annoying, but it must be against the accepted behaviours for plugins to advertise on other plugin’s configuration pages. Please tell me how to remove them permanently, and please desist from placing them again!!

I have a problem, in my site i use Yoast that you support it and it is indexing automatically and wpforo.
WP foro in yoast is only 1 page and uses it is own sitemap, how can i add a second sitemap ?
They still show Index, Follow in the list.
